This customs-evasion topic was brought up earlier as well, in front of Pallavi as far as I can recall but I don't remember any promises being made. Regardless, I still think it's too early for Pallavi to blindly believe Raghav when it comes to his business because he's like an altogether different person there.

For me it wasn't that she can't trust Raghav or refuse to believe Sunny. It was more so that she knows Raghav has a history of doing shady things. A law abiding citizen does NOT have the police in their pocket. She may not know anything else (some do say she knew or suspected customs evasion/smuggling), but she knew that. And that's why I have a different perspective on that. You're right in that if she never saw anything, why wouldn't she have that level of trust in him. Up until today, we've never been given the indication that they talked about how he does his business, or anything related to his business at all (except the necklace kaand).

The whole issue of blind trust came in because (esp whens she was speaking to Sunny) it was as if she put Raghav on a pedestal - that's dangerous, for her and for Raghav. That is idealized love. There's a difference between having full trust in your partner (which you should) because he hasn't given you cause to think otherwise, and then seeing things, knowing past behavior, yet still being adamant that "he can do no wrong" (paraphrased). It's not that she can't fully trust him, it's that she shouldn't think he can do no wrong. Raghav is human. Humans err. He literally made an error recently by placing a tracker in her bag. Lol.

But even then. I get why she said all that to Sunny - no way she'd give Sunny the satisfaction of seeing her suspect Raghav. He doesn't deserve that.

I don't see the need for Abhishek to die if it was just about trust. The death made this too murky and that's the reason I feel that it is also making Raghav realise that his desire for wealth and power isn't as important as his desire to have his family by his side.

I don't think they will make Raghav poor by the end of this track. Less wealthy, yes but not poor.

I think we've gone into the wrong depth of theories. This track was never about Raghav's change or custom duty flaw bit rather ot was about the test of their trust on one another.

Pallavi trusts Raghav way too much because she's in love with him And Raghav is scared to loose Pallavi because he too loves her.

Even though Pallavi have time and again, even when they were not together, have proved that she's always trusted him because he was an honest man by his words ( not his actions in some cases). Someone who does what his heart and mind says without playing any degraded tricks so she trusts him to always play every action on face without any fear. Hence if Raghav's not doing something in open, Pallavi won't believe the said rumour to be true.

The track is a about trusting your partner and giving them a chance.

Pallavi to give a chance even if Raghav somewhere betrays her trust. A second chance.

Raghav to give Pallavi's trust a chance and speak the truth without doubting that she'll leave him.
