So I haven't been watching the episodes nowadays and was particularly upset after the promo because as I mentioned before, I hate that track. I dint look deep niether beyond because I was kind of blinded at the moment and was just upset. I even decided to leave the forum for some days and managed only for one day. On a lighter note, chalo atleast I managed one whole day but our Adi-Imlie couldn't for even 5 mins. 🤭
I woke up today morning and decided against watching the episode and even reading the WU but am actually glad that I did and glad I did it from this one. Aps Ji, your positivity really helped me today because I seemed to have lost my own. I'm still not watching the episode and will be sticking to WU. Will binge watch good scenes after this track is done.
Just came here to share few things about the track which is strictly according to my opinion. I haven't caught up with all responses and hence if any of my points are a repetition of what somebody has already mentioned, I'm sorry about that.
I had mentioned before I was kinda in a dilemma between wanting Imlie to leave and having her stay because this according to me was a trust of faith and failing this felt like falling apart with respect to something so elemental in their bond. But in today's scene makers gave us sort of both so thank you makers 😜
1) This entire nashe waali drink is the parallel to what happened during PD 2. There Adi and Imlie were remarried and it was then that due to watching the set up and seeing her arrive with the glass of milk, he had accused her of wanting to celebrate their first night. They had had the confrontation (not exactly but not finding a proper word to describe 😅). There it wasn't at all the thought but just the setting created a slight misunderstanding. But there despite it not being Imlie's character or intention, Adi berated her for that.
In the present track, it is Malini's intention but she hasn't been accused of it by Adi. And here the setting wasn't decorated such but the deed done (or not done) was the same.
Imlie upheld her esteem and character then and Malini just dropped to another low now. Imlie had niether created nor wanted that situation and here Malini did both.
Even after all of this, Imlie saved Adi's life from that flying aag bottle (any names for it?). Malini on the other hand, just for her selfish gains has put Adi in such a spot where he's hurting, disgusted and what not.
I don't know what's going to happen, how the promo is going to play out or how it's going to ultimately end. But I'd just say that after all of this, I want Malini's character to be punished rightfully. Because this isn't just about her entire act being cheap and her having no remorse of it.
3) Village people are backwards, orthodox. Yes! But today NN proved that she has much more progressive thought process in this scenario than the shehri Ts. Be it with a woman or a man, she/ he is asked to shut up if anything happens to them because parivaar ki izzat is much more above than what that woman/man had to go through.
4)Adi not believing M can do something like that is understandable according to me. I never had any problem with him not accepting M could do such a thing. What I had a problem with was his silence when his family spoke rubbish about Imlie. See, whether he's able to see it or not, his ostrichpana everything aside, he feels M might be obsessed with him, desperate even but not a woman who can fall so low lacking all dignity that she goes on to make situations like this and even molest him. His disgust with her is evident but he'd still not be willing to believe she'd stoop so low. And now even if he did, he wouldn't actually know what to do about it till he himself is able to accept that he is the victim and not the culprit!
5) Despite all these talks of izzat and stuff, isn't Aparna a mother? Can't she see her son is devastated? Did she even come to him and try to comfort him even once when she knows all of it happened in an inebriated state? (No idea if it happened or not)
