1. A homemaker did BEd after cooking, cleaning, washing and being pregnant, giving birth to a child amidst all this. She secured a job for herself in a school. She used to wake up at 5 to cook and do every household work while the Saas cribbed. She came back home in the afternoon only to serve fresh chapatos, then again do all the chores. She quit the job ultimately as her body gave up.

I know PS has drama to the power infinity, but India, in Tier 2, Tier 3 cities is similar to the family, mohalla and drama.

People don't keep maids till date. We have a family of 4 doctors, one veterinarian and guess what? My in-laws still don't allow us to keep maids.

Women are judged only based on Roti making capabilities. Petty fights amongst who should prepare dinner today. And a lot!

Saas katana. Childless pe tana. Family only focussing on food even after a deadly fight, dressing up on festivals as if nothing has happened. Mohalla women are gossiping about divorcing couples.

It's sad, but it's a reality in households.

A family without familial toxicity is like an oasis. We all have our Coping mechanisms For dealing With such toxicity. I haven't written much as everyone seemed to hate the episodes, but trust me, I have seen such things happening around me, so I am identifying with everything shown. Perhaps this is why the TRP audiences give it a thumbs up because they deal with such shit each day.

A mother-in-law ran into the hospital and asked her Bshu to cross-check if the child had been changed just because it was a girl child dark-skinned.

Its sad but the truth!

This sort of sound like she is multi talented but in a wrong place🤪..she lost her originality with this pregnancy track...right from the icu scene 🤪she is either trying too hard mimicking everyone or overdoing it. Or thr awards had made her over confident..tht this kind of overacting is indeed needed for such scenes

I hear you. I was born in a very liberal progressive family and married for love. My husband’s side belongs to smaller towns, and I am appalled by what happens in his relative's families.

Homophobia, white supremacy, selective rage on the most loving person: it just exists luke crazy. Unambitious educated men like Dev wasting their education.
