But then we can't say about Adi's resolve.....as per this promo, his resolve about always supporting Imlie seems to be wavering, so if he is shown to go the route of shielding Malini from jail for whatever reason (for protecting Imlie etc. etc), it will still seem like they failed the test of their relationship. An Adi who doesn't stand for his truth or the fact that Imlie is his greatest truth, is basically a shell of himself and then there is no point to his character.

Courtroom drama seems like a side show to do bhaashanbaazi over....wohi token social messaging over how a man's consent matters too but actual storyline will still continue to show Kalini ka pukeworthy supremacy over everything.

Word on the bold! Then that disgusted look he has on the promo is pretty much - I know what you are upto lady and imlie and I are going to expose you soon! I will take that over my first option. He only tells Imlie she is not going to do anything about the camera - which he is going to do it himself - that is the pardafaash of didi.

Very well said...the question is whether they can carry this storyline and maintain Adi or will this kill his core characterisation.

Forgot to add, only thing I'm mildly curious about is whether the makers will show Adi as totally falling for Malini's twisted lies again about how she is still his "dost" and "well wisher" or they will go the route of Malini openly blackmailing Adi to stay with her, so that there is no more ambiguity for him regarding her motives.

But I guess it's too much to hope for....ambiguity is how they keep dragging this vicious cycle so Adi will likely continue in his clueless zone only even after being shown proof of Malini trapping him.

Will he though? Will Adi when all is out in the open - and lets say baby is also not true - will Adi truly send M to jail for this. Only that will fully cover his journalistic code.

I cannot see M being put in jail at all...I will be very surprised if they do that. MAybe thats how KC M love angle will start with rehabilitation?

till Imlie produces the camera - Adi may be shown to be in dost mode. If thats so again Adi's character is still butchered ----of his not trusting Imlie when she is fighting for him - where is the faith.

Imlie left to protect Adi from defamation not because of faith. If Adi does not reciprocate the same - what big soul connect are we watching?

With each dragging of Adi's confusion wrt dost - his charcater is falling.

I know I might sound ridiculously optimistic at this point- but I think it will be malin openly blackmailing Adi.

The sister angle can always be used much later on in the story if they want to bring her back and whitewash her later - but that will have to be way into the future.
And I am just going by Adi’s reaction in the promo here.
The guy who was giving Imlie’s speeches about how oproof is important is now going to ignore THE proof? Something else is going on.

LOL he looked more laachaar than disgusted in the promo to me.....so I toh didn't see any signs of him doing pardafaash based on that. He looks fully blackmailed by Malini, that's about it.

Focus of the promo was again on what will IMLIE do about this baccha claim....they are still keeping it more along the lines of the catfight. Imlie's determination in the beginning of the promo was to get Malini jailed/punished and then it ended with Malini being like how can you do that cuz I'm pregnant....so it's still about the two women tussling it out while Adi just stands around laachaar🤔.

I don’t even have the same level of passion for her pardafash anymore. She has fallen so so low and tortured everyone and me beyond any pardafash that will give me relief. I see her looming throughout the story aage bhi. Thing is.. she’s done so so much, fallen so low, with little repercussions for soo long ke I am unable to feel excited about any pardafash too she’s so draining .. she just kept getting away.. the cycle of torture is too lengthy not even malini ko thappad parna (which I was most looking forward to) is making me feel anything now .. when the people I watch for seem lost .. ooper se the tripathis fall so low everyday it drains me even further thinking imlie will have to live with them 🤢

LOL oh you just might be quite right about that.....they have to throw a bone to the people who wanted Adi to see Malini's true face, so they might just give this much that he will see her openly blackmailing him but he still won't be able to do anything about it and will remain under her control over this pregnancy drama🤔.

The promo does give that vibe like she isn't playing bechaari in front of Adi anymore....but then again, that might just be Mayuri's pathetic acting that we can't tell when Malini is faking bechaargi or being open vamp. Would be better if they show Adi atleast comprehending her true ugly nature even if he is left hapless otherwise.

Whitewashing ka kya scope hai abhi when Imlie is directly trying to throw Malini in jail.....I think that ship has sailed for now. This is pretty open war going on with the women making their hate for each other pretty obvious.

I don't think we should dwell so much on Adi ke bhaashans about proof.....lol woh dusro ko bolne ke liye jhaadta hai bhaashan but khud ke case mein laachaar banke baith jaata hai. Waise bhi looks like they are showing ki Adi is beyond thinking about proofs now cuz he feels trapped on another level.

I am hoping from the promo that whatever he saw in the camera ( the all so important camera !) will be a trigger but he needs to be smart cos accusing Didi not going to work since his whole family practically is behind her in this. I dunno.. I am being cautiously optimistic that this is a turning point cos if not what’s left? Imlie will legit leave and how will he stop her cos she will never want the baby (if there is) to go through what she did. It’s so ironic that Didi married adi for him and his family which was the opposite to hers and how she is emulating her mother and entering into a well effectively loveless marriage built on her delusion. Guess the Apple really does not fall far from the tree
