My money is on an African show.

They are deeply connected with Suraj Rosario.

The coy. itself is new and did a Mika gig in Mumbai. Plus big corporate do's and Aditya Narayan's wedding party. But the owner is an old hand it seems.

Generally upper notch event coy.

It was a personal post. I initially ignored it because I was not going to post it. I marked it to someone who was in touch with me and that is how I posted it here. I can't remember the original poster now. If I come across it again, I'll let you know.

Thanks. I remember during the Octopus launch event you had mentioned that lady controls the African market for concerts. Rani Jamal was the name, if I remember correctly.

Good for them if it happens.

By the time these concerts roll around in the end of October, I hope their own songs are released so that they can perform some of those too. 3 from HR, maybe 1 or 2 from Octopus, maybe Arunita's 2 Bangla songs from Tansener Tanpura. Hopefully copyright issues get sorted out.

I doubt it. They will sing old Bollywood hits and a few current foot tappers. They are like Sony's Idol viewers - suited and bejewelled oldies all past their prime. Usually there is one hit from idol performances from each as a sort of marquee number. Won't be surprised if Arunita sings Satyam every alternate show day.

Yes, Danish coming in from home for a meeting is not a small affair. Adds more weight to the meeting.

A lot of concerts abroad have 3 singers - 2 male and one female. That is the preferred mix going by past trends.

In one word, Wonderful. The song itself is kind of okay, but I love the fact that in this song HR has explored more of Arunita's versatility. She has done a wonderful job - she sounds like a seasoned professional rather than a beginner. A reminder of her talent and what all Indian Idol has missed!
