Before leaving for PD3 he was upset with imlie.. He was in denial with his feelings for imlie but he was supposedly in love with Malini at time na?? Still it didn't change the fact k when imlie left he wasn't able to function..

You did and thanks for that. I think my main concern was because of his dazed look. Woh banda itna confused aur pareshaan hai, that my worry was that he may accept every blame and accusation, and the punishment meted out to him under the assumption that it is his fault that all this happened.

My ek hi worry hai - that his parents may convince him to go along with the relationship with Malini just because they want to put the full blame on him only and not take any cognizance of the fact that the guy also is suffering here. Yahaan I want him to say whether she is there in the T house or not, she will be his wife. If he says that, I know that Malini will not be able to do anything whatsoever.

I never mentioned he will accept DD as his wife - all he may do is resign himself to fate and let Imlie go away without doing anything and just listen to what his family says. I too think Imlie needs a break from the toxic environment.

Once Imlie leaves only then will ask be able to think straight again lol... with her around he is just too dependent on her whether it is to save him from kidnappers or let her do all the thinking and connect the dots (regarding Malini)

One of the things I have been noticing is how similar Malini is to her mother. Like she always portrayed as the sweet and sugary person unlike her bitter mother. She has repeatedly said that she wants a happy marriage unlike her parents marriage. But that's exactly what she wants, she knew Adi was confused yet chose to marry him... now she knows he loves someone else yet assaults her in order to trap him. She just couldn't stand that fact (like many in the show) that Adi choose Imlie over her. She just wants to be married... doesn't care if it is a toxic marriage.

No one in Adi's family not even his mother is concerned for him.... Like he had a black out with Malini claiming someone that he doesn't remember.... maybe he is the victim here. Even thought poor Imlie is broken yet she is thinking of all these things while she is blamed for maligning Malini by Apu bit good Nani shut her up.

But Imlie leaving is perhaps the best thing as that would make Adi take charge and with Imlie gone Malini will put her guard down.
