Strangely in all this, Raghav looked defeated, as though the fight had left him and he had to contend with knowing he couldn't save his sister. He has that sense of impending doom because he knows that marriage isn't going anywhere. At this point, he is beyond reasoning that his sister made some decisions herself despite all their warnings and that at some point he would have to cure rather than prevent, as it's too late now. I know Keerti being broken would destroy him but I am hoping she herself sees the light and takes matters into her own hand to help ease some of his guilt.
In today's episode, Raghav literally looked like he was weighed down by guilt and helplessness, but also kind of numbed by everything. He did show respect to Ayi's words and sat down, but I guess something in him stopped him from following through with it 100%.
I know he's hurting and on some level he knows that being angry with Pallavi won't solve anything. I guess all the past trauma and his burden hit him like a ton of bricks. This is how I'm reading his character right now. I don't like how he behaved with Pallavi in front of everyone during the rituals but I understand why he did it. Even Amma was taken aback because she didn't let her anger with Pallavi show publicly.
I know when he comes of out the shell he's retreated into, he will make amends. I also know that he feels walled in by the fact that the one person who he would have gone to for solace to help himself deal better with Keerti's marriage is the person who he has cut off from temporarily.
The hurt is deep and he will take some time but more practical matters will help him get back into action. I hope Farhad is alert because Raghav seems to be a bit zoned out to me, even in the precap. He didn't have the same don-like attitude when saying people needed an appointment to see him.
It's as if whatever Keerti did damaged his pride and sense of sell-worth to an extent.
