However, this is my reasoning. Bapuji had a soft corner, was nice to Anupama from the beginning. When V's affair came out, he felt sorry for her. Sorry that it should not have happened to her, sorry that his son was the cause of grief for Anupama. So, he must have decided to do some damage control by giving her a part of share in his property.

All that is good, but knowing Anupama's weakness ( family/baa/bapuji etc) he used that as the bait to retain her in the house. He could not imagine anyone but Anupama running the household, hence the weird arrangement.

I feel, that bapuji thinks he is very progressive and open minded and wants to set an example to the society by giving her all the status as if he would treat his own daughter.

He is not progressive or her savior by any means. In fact, he doesnt understand how big of a disservice he has done to her. His mistakes - does not prevent his wife, baa from continuing to taunt her. Nor does he stop others from illtreating her. He is preventing her fro being independent.

Honestly, if someone loved their bahu as dearly as their own daughter, they would not let this sort of treatment to be metted out.

Anupama OTOH is a fool to give in to his emotional drama. There is no other way to put it, she needs to leave the house. Period. Leaving the house & living seprately does not mean she should disrespect them or anything. She can still continue to have an amicable relationship with everyone.

The way Anupama acts about bapuji medicines etc... is over the top exeggaration. Give me a break!

Neither he is preventing his wife or new daughter in law from taunting anupama nor he is thinking about anupama also deserves new beginnings!

Anupama & Vanraj in the same house is not acceptable, it is the most bizzare arrangement a divorced couple can have. Her kids are in the house is no reason for her to stay back in that house. Spouses must live separately after a divorce and have some sort of visitation arrangement with kids.

Reg. Anuj staying with Anu's family.... I am not sure why Anu herself has not thought of moving with her mom/brother. So, I wouldnt expect Anuj to stay with them.

Overall, Anu staying back in the same house with her ex is weird. Nothing has changed for her, she has one more person in the house - souten. 😕

Exactly..., I can’t stand that vanraj shah.... what is this 1/3 of house... she should get at least 3/4th house as an alimony after divorce and rest 1/4 should be distributed between vanraj and dolly

There should be conditions that she would not do any household chores for selfish vanraj and kavya... whoever sympathize with them, that person help vanraj not anupama

Anupama should threaten kavya if she hear any nonsense about herself, she will file police complaint against kavya for mental torture and verbal abusing..,

because good and reliable kaamwali bai is hard to find...

Muft ki naukrani chahiye thi.... bapuji is neither well-wisher of anupama's, that is unless he proves me wrong in future by supporting anuj-anupama alliance, then I will truly believe he wanted her to stay here as his daughter and not just because his house and family needs her. 🥱
