They're not trying to please jasfa fandom. they simply trying to tell a story about how these two cheaters will get their comeuppance. That's why these two losers will be shown to get what they want short-term which is to marry each other and go canada, but that is where their happiness starts and ends, because reality and karma will come back to bite them and put full breaks on their paradise. Jasmine will not get the exact life in canada she wanted and she will make fateh miserable.
