Well, at some point of time parents have to learn to let go. If Indian Idol wouldn't have happened to her, this year she would have gone to college - which in theory could have been anywhere in India. So in any case Mr. and Mrs. Kanjilal would have to let her go off to another city and live on her own - if that was the education path she chose.

My gut feel is that her college is fixed. Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata where she will peacefully pursue a degree in Classical Music and use her shows as excuses for practicals .....🤣

MS University Vadodara would be closer to Mumbai. Easier to dash down for exams and stuff😆

But the main point is that it is possible that parents have accepted that she has to be on her own now.
