But, he has learned money is power the hard way around. He will not be able to bear being poor because he has already been there. For Raghav, money is his weapon, dignity, obsession, everything. Before he did not care about anyone except his Amma and Sister, aur ab faraq itna hai ki ab Pallavi saari cheezon mein se sabse zyada maine rakhti hai uski zindagi mein.

Your point is absolutely correct, Pallavi was the first person to see the inherent goodness that was in Raghav par iska yeh matlab nahi she will support him in illegal methods. The previous time, that is, during Krishna Rao affair, he was genuinely not fully at fault atleast not to the extent they claimed he was. She could connect with him because she lied to her family too, about the shop running in profit. He tried to help his family but it backfired. Krishna Rao was shady and Raghav made the mistake of trusting him. But ab baat woh nahi hai. The way he runs his business is illegal. She is moral, ethical. And both are stubborn. They won't easily compromise with their ideologies because of their past and that's how they are made.

Yes, Raghav is a family man and he should be honest with his wife and not keep her in the dark. But how can he, knowing Pallavi will not accept his choice of work even for 1 minute. Yeah. he should not keep her in the dark, but do you really think Pallavi will accept his POV?

Instead of laughter (in literal sense) we could translate this to feelings of happiness, satisfaction or content and appreciation for this scene.

There are several scenes related to The Gifts which were beautifully executed and equally important. What relates to the respective gift scene is when Raghav proudly enters the bedroom with Farhad and presents all his gifts to Pallavi.

After encouragement (pushing) of Amma, Raghav makes time in his busy schedule and comes home with lots of gifts (very shiny saree and jewelry) which are not to Pallavi's preference. Though, understanding the efforts he has made, she pretends to absolutely like it. Raghav is seen to be absolutely proud of his choices, keeping in mind of Pallavi's taste (according to him) and asking for validation, like a little kid who is looking for the approval. It is the first time he has bought gifts for his wife for such an important festivity, and that too saree shopping. Carefully, Pallavi compliments his choice, which encourages Raghav even more. The big smile from ear to ear and the twinkling eyes show his happiness and relief. He is relieved, knowing he has done this task so well that he start feeling overconfident, and boosting up his own ego. He dares to admit that he felt challenged but after all... he is The Raghav Rao, and whatever he does is The Bessht.. He has even proactively accessorized with bangles. Pallavi accepted his choice, and his efforts were appreciated, which has brought him great happiness. The smile on his face reminds me of the time he thought Amma and Keerthi were coming home for festivities. A great laughter and intense happiness.

Then, comes the surprise element of Raghav..

Raghav has a change of heart and realizes that the gifts he brought for her are not good enough. He gives her the red outfit and jewelry, which Pallavi absolutely loves. He knows the importance of this event/festivity especially for Pallavi. She has explained what this means for a married woman and fasting is only to be done when there are feelings for each other. Raghav's question to whether Pallavi has feelings for him, is only answered when Pallavi walks down the stairs. Both will end up fasting for each other. They have a cute moment together before she leaves home. He brought her the gifts, but the fact that she has accepted his gifts and him are perhaps even of more significance to him. That was actually a gift to him.

maybe to break the scene down, you can find a bit of inspiration, mainly about the initial Gift scene which was important but gave also comic relief 😊

Pallavi knows who she married and not even once raghav try to show himself as good and clean person in front of her. Regarding gun , you can have a gun in your home for your safety by following the legal procedure so it's makes sense he was alone on home and his business rivals was there so he is having gun and he use it only if it's really required. Pallavi knows everything on lion track. She knows he have gun and she also knows raghav not paying tax to get diamonds inside. She also had a choice to walk out of him since she is different from him but she chooses to stay with him no matter what. She had her own past and he warned her but she didn't heared his words, faced it's consequences and finally joined together with him to get over with her past. Raghav accepted her with all past. Regarding raghav business some way or other it will come out. Like you said he gone through a lot to reach this position. Whether both going to have good matured conversation or going to dwell with each other views?? That's we need to see. Both needs to comes with common ground so how that's possible without having a proper conversation or confrontation?? He hiding and lying make situation worse other than nothing much and also pallavi should understand where he is coming from before she comes with her views because it's totally opposite to him and he knows that also that's why he is hiding from her. Both should understand each other first before imposing their ideologies on each other.

I am not the best person to confirm this to be honest, so I am very happy if one of the other comment on it.

But this is my interpretation of what I feel could fit Hasya in the broader sense of the word. Take the emotion and place it in different intensities. With emotions, the one overlaps the other. Then there is the own free interpretation: I see intense happiness and relief. The longing for acceptance and love.

But what do you see? What do the viewers/readers see? It is very interesting.

Episode 178, Sept 9th

Episode starts with Pallavi telling Jaya about Sharada's invitation for Ganpati puja. She asks if she wanted to go but she denies saying Vijay will create a scene and she doesn't want to kill the festive vibes for anyone.

Jaya says sometimes our family members become so stubborn, for example, Keerti. Pallavi asks if they really should arrange her alliance without her permission. To which Jaya replies, she has not left any other choice for them, and she needs to mend her.

Enter Sunny

Sunny asks Jaya if she is getting Keerti married to someone else, as Keerti only told him this. He says that they love each other and want to marry and I am here to formally ask for her hand.

Raghav arrives at the scene and asks Sunny to leave as he is rejecting his proposal. Sunny asks him if they can talk like two mature people keeping aside everything. Raghav denies any new beginnings and Sunny asks the reason due to which he is not agreeing to their relation, to which Raghav replies you are the problem and reasons it with his involvement with Mandar and illegal activities. Sunny reminds him that he only helped him in the case of Mandar, but Raghav intervenes and says that he did it for his good.

Raghav asks him to leave but Sunny reminds him that they are adults and don't need anyone's permission to get married and the only thing holding them back is Keerti's wish to have Jaya's blessings. Raghav was about to hit him but Pallavi comes in between. Pallavi asks Sunny to leave before anything goes wrong. Sunny says he is here to deal things nicely but since there is no use, he will be going for now but you all should keep in mind that no one can separate him and Keerti.

Raghav was again going to hit Sunny but Jaya and Pallavi stop him and Pallavi says that they can elope and get married. Jaya didn't like this and says that she will not let this marriage happen.

Keerti arrives there and asks if Sunny came while Raghav asks him to go to her room as she is not going anywhere and will be locked in the room.

Raghav asks Jaya to call Mrs. Subhramniyam for the alliance. He drags her into the room and locks her. Keerti and Pallavi tried stopping him and Pallavi says this is not right, but Raghav reasoned it as this is not about right or wrong and further asks both Jaya and Pallavi to not let her go anywhere from the room.

In their room, Pallavi asks if this is the solution to the problem. She is not a kid who can sit in front of the groom's family and she will not going to be happy. Raghav asks if she will be happy with Sunny and Pallavi says that's what we need to tell her but not in this way.

Jaya informs them that the family is coming today only. Raghav asks them to prepare for it but this doesn't go well with Pallavi. Meanwhile, Farhad arrives and tells Raghav about Mr. Murli's arrival.

Raghav asks Farhad to shift their meeting base as Pallavi is doubtful about him and he didn't want that. Raghav asks Murli about the reason for his arrival and he tells them that the security has been doubled and everything is being checked. They need to be cautious for the next consignment. A new police officer named Laxmi Singh is specially appointed for this case.

Pallavi arrives with a saree and jewelry for Keerti in her room and tells her that Jaya has asked her to get ready but she denies for it. Pallavi tells her that they are doing all this for her only and Sunny is not the right person. Keerti says why Raghav locked her in the room to which Pallavi tells her about Sunny's warning. Keerti tells her that she could have eloped way before but she didn't and nobody is understanding her. Seeing the open door Keerti weaves a story of office audit and she has to attend it otherwise she will be fired and asks Pallavi to let her go. When Pallavi denies she pushes her and locks her in the room. A house help opens the door but she fails to catch Keerti.

Pallavi decides to talk to Raghav and Rajan tells her that he is in office for some important meeting. Pallavi barges into the office but Raghav denies talking. She tries calling Farhad as well but he was also unreachable.

Amrutha is waiting for an auto but was not able to get one when she sees Farhad. He asks if he can drop her but initially Amrutha denies. She finally agrees and Farhad asks if they are friends now to which she says yes.

Pallavi is waiting for Keerti as the time is nearing 9 pm. By 9:30 Jaya arrives and asks Pallavi to get Keerti ready and also to behave well in front of guests. The family arrives early and Jaya-Raghav welcomes them. Raghav asks Pallavi to join and introduces her. They have some casual chats in Telugu.

When Jaya was asking Pallavi to get Keerti ready and Pallavi trying to tell her, Raghav intervenes. Pallavi is worried about the situation. Here the family asks for Keerti and seeing Pallavi's worried face Jaya somehow handles and asks Raghav to see. Raghav was asking Pallavi when Sunny-Keerti arrives, married.

Precap: Jaya blames Pallavi as due to her carelessness Keerti eloped and Raghav also doesn't want to have a conversation with her.

In the study, Raghav instructs someone to keep all his boys underground as he doesn't want one more arrest which Sunny overhears. Raghav is ignoring Pallavi while Nikhil video calls her from Deshmukh's house where Ganpati Bappa's arrival is being celebrated.

She was so afraid 😳 to keep expensive gifts and it's make sense she got so panicked when necklace is lost.

Anna lost his father and brother so he is always very protective of his family but in that process he don't see how certain things should be done and his impulsive nature always make situation worse. He also handling this business for sometime on his own ways so he knows ups and downs. Right now he is family man and his decisions will have impact on his family.

Hiding, lieing or running away from issues won't fix anything instead make situations worse. Pallavi never judged him instead always try to understand and pulled him out of darkness. Glad to see he stand for himself today but wife shouldn't interfere on his way shows his arrogance nothing much.
