Also Kashaf too had a struggling life in the beginning. Her life with Zaroon wasn't a bed of roses either. It was rough, even physical fight level rough but then they evolved. She found love at the moment when she wasn't even expecting it. The minute details are what connects both Pallavi and Kashaf in my opinion.

One of it that i can explain is

Kashaf was going to reject Zaroon's proposal but she found a soulmate in him when one day out of the blue in a random meeting he saved her from hot tea. Taking the entire liquid his hands not caring about himself. It was then that she realised that if he can do that for her, he would save her from the harsh world too. Taking care of her because that feeling was new to her since nobody else ever did.

In Pallavi's life too she had hardships somewhat similar to hers. She had too been rejecting Raghav's proposal initially for marriage and then even after giving a chance she was indecisive but the moment he left his self respect onto the floor for her in from of her baba. She too realised that if he can change for her. Leave his dignity for her then he's always gonna take care of her heart and dignity from the cruel world.

This is a slight one point synopsis that i can explain you right now and trust me there are soo more.
