She forced Raghav into a marriage with Pallavi also. She didn’t use physical force but she used emotional. She apparently knew Pallavi could fix Raghav🤔 Amma belongs to the school of thought that a right life partner can fix her children so she forcefully marries them off in their best interests 🤓

Although I don't like this whole locking Keerti in a room (Seriously Raghav?) patriarchal crap they're showing. I would've wished they'd shown Pallavi know everything and then, because of the goodness in her heart & her inability to see injustice, still went and helped Keerti because Keerti is an adult and has the right to make her own life decisions, however poor they are. But they won't. At most, maybe, if they do a Keerti redemption track, Keerti herself will reflect on what she did or admit it herself (i understand this is wishful thinking LOL).

I do hope they bring up Raghvi forced marriage. But I also think they've overcome that so it may not be mentioned again.

Ok I have a different opinion here. I don't think Pallavi is defending Keerti, she's just pointing out what Amma and Raghav are doing to Keerti is wrong and what approach should be followed. She's a more practical and reasoned person and her stand on Keerti hasn't changed since the beginning. She was willing to give sunny a chance (when Raghav wanted to buy him off) and when she realised his truth, wanted to explain things to Keerti. Ofcourse, she got busy with her own more pressing problems and Keerti was anyway to the point of no return by then.

I don't think Pallavi is the kind to let Keerti falter and make her mistake when she knows how wrong Sunny is and how important the decision to marry the right person is. While Keerti has the right to make her own decisions, Pallavi knows not to interfere because it will backfire on her.

Raghav always had a patriarchal mindset towards Keerti. He used to have her followed, kept strict tabs on her and now she's rebelling because she found a way out. You know because Pallavi is so strong herself and because of their forced marriage, Raghav doesn't dominate Pallavi otherwise he's an alpha male through and through.

Yeah that would be a good way to bring it up - so they can understand how Keerti would feel. it's not so much about Pallavi making Raghav feel bad for what he did anymore. It's about making him understand that no woman should feel that way / be put in that situation.

Yes, and If I remember correctly Raghav said that they’ll simply have Kirti divorce Sunny in future when he agreed on getting Sunki married back in Hyderabad .

I hope after his own divorce drama he understands it’s not easy to marry off your sister to anyone carelessly saying divorce is always an easy option out .( it is an option but not an easy one ) .

I discussed this with Euphoric yesterday on why Amma is wrong with Keerti and right with Raghvi and here is the summary (hahah):

1. Raghvi were both single when she forced them into a marriage but Keerti is in a relationship with Sunny and loves him.

2. Raghav had wronged Pallavi and taken her family away along with maligning her image, the only way to right this was to marry her. Also, she believed her son is a good human being and Pallavi is strong enough to handle him (she also supported Pallavi during the MU phase post marriage). She explains to Keerti that she's taking this decision as amma for both Raghvi and not just as Raghav's mom.

Hence, we believed that Amma is wrong here to force Keerti into a loveless marriage.

Fria, her hand was near his heart. I found that very soft. Hair one hopefully the morning after coitus hahha

In my opinion she was wrong with RaghVi too.

Pallavi is strong enough is not defense to put her in a marriage where she isn’t willing. In spite of relationship status(single, dating, it’s complicated) forcing someone to get married is a huge nope because it is violating their rights to make such a big choice for themself which is same for everyone.

She could have suggested it to Raghav and Pallavi. At that point of time Raghav was someone who had simply wronged Pallavi. Most people don’t want to be married to their aggressor to save face but have to because respect matters in society😵 She was wrong in thinking that way and forcing her decision. She could have discussed it with Pallavi and Aayi. Aayi is still okay but at least Pallavi. If she took this decision for Pallavi then I still find Amma in the wrong here but in my opinion she was also trying to justify the decision that she took. If she genuinely also cared about Pallavi she would have asked her and not assumed her son with a not so good track record would convince Pallavi to marry him willingly despite everything he has done to her.
