Their childhood animosity doesn't even make sense. It was always Shiva bullying Raavi because of her relation to Maami that too in agressive ways. Raavi never initiated an attack on him in the same manner.

But given the circumstance that they got married in, that dynamic had to change. Shiva's anger should have been with Dev while for Raavi it should have been an immense concern due to her suicide attempt. Raavi lashing out on Shiva would still make sense since it's for her to be mad at him than anyone else in the family because of respect and whatnot. Shiva, while he would be irked, he would still understand where she's coming from and should have helped her to move on from her trauma. It would be tough for him to open up and make himself vulnerable since he's not used to it, but he could still put in the effort to help Raavi.

Raavi didn't need violence, screaming and shout, or guilt-tripping behavior. What she needed was a safe space that gave her comfort, love, strength and support so that she could heal.
