Was Dimple Kapadia considered a top actress?

Noone really compares her to Sridevi or Madhuri. She had some memorable films and a long career. What do you think? ☺️

She was an amazing actress.

she had the looks, that's it and Bobby was the only biggest hit of her career, later may be Sagar.... not in the league of sri or madhuri

She was in a different league. Do watch Lekin, Vishwatma, Krantiveer, etc. She proved to the world that looks based on beauty standards and glamour are not a prerequisite for a successful acting career - although I must say she was quite a good looking lady in my opinion.

SRIDEVI is the Top-Most Actress of 1980's. It is said that during 80's , from 1 to 10, there was only SRIDEVI . The other actresses were nowhere near Her.

In the early 80s Sri was just one of the many bankable heroines like Amrita Singh, Poonam Dhillon and Padmini Kolhapore. Nothing special. For any role requiring more Dimple and Rekha got the first dibs. It was only after Nagina in 1985 that she was even properly noticed. She started her reign as the No.1 in the late 80s with Chaandni,Chaalbaaz and Mr.India.

She was considered a hot actress... top ka pata nahin...
