Socha Na Tha or Jab We Met- Which Imtiaz Ali film do you prefer?

JWM but I like the original choice for Preity Zinta as Geet better.

It's more filmy but it has a special charm. Probably the last great Romcom from Bollywood?

SNT is Imtiaz's second best film.

I still don’t understand the hype for SNT. Have watched the film and yet can’t figure why everytime this is asked SNT wins over JWM. Seriously JWM is easily Imitiaz’s best work and clearly his most profitable work too. It has stood the rest of time as well. I guess the hype is just within this forum?

It is simple, every time you pitch something popular against somethign not so popular, the latter would win.

Jab We Met. It was a much better film with many great moments. I loved Socha Na Tha too but JWM is on another plane
