Navratri is very important in Gujarati culture. I have a lot of Gujrati friends where I live, One of them is a Pandya family from Gandhinagar😆 our daughters are besties. Few names are similar to the show as well. I told my friend about it, she laughed and told me their family is nothing like the Pandyas shown on the series😆

Premzieee I am also Gujarati 😂😂 we are also nothing like the Pandyas baba🙏🏼 They absolutely should not skip Navratri, plus it has so much potential 😉

They don’t even show them using gujju words here and there now. If it based in Somnath they should have stuck to some aesthetics. Except Krutikaji and Shiny no one else even attempts 😂

I am also Gujju and Navratri is big. Even here. Because we can't do 9 straight days of Garba, we have them here on 4 weekends. And we all go from 8.30-9 pm to 3 am in the morning. Well I used to. Now no one's really there of my age, so don't go so much. But it's so much fun.

I love Gujaratis, they are the smartest and am surrounded by them, can learn a lot, except the Pandyas shown here😕

As you know only Shiny and Krutika are native speakers. KD in an earlier interview accepted that he don’t know a word of Gujarati. In hindsight they should have had the story based in one of the Hindi speaking states like UP, MP or even Bihar would have been fine. I am not sure what made them choose Gujarat

I am looking forward to a proper Navratri celebration because they have the habit of ruining special occasions😕

Same ditto complaint chhe.

Especially when they so sparingly use Marathi in ghumdidi show, Punjabi in pretty much every show.

Somnath gave them a real strong cultural +contextual background - Full Kathiyawad, near Gir, so much they could have done.

dance songs - my favorite demand: please use Gujarati songs- some amazing ones out there.

Have hope, How they are celebrating GaneshUtsav week with Ghum,

Navratri will be at PandyaStore!

True, but learning Gujarati (especially few words here and there is really not that hard). They are similar to Hindi and if it comes up in a script they just have to read it.

E.g. Hu store Jav chu. (I am going to the store).

Aa su kare che, tu gadheda (What are you doing, idiot?)

Phrases like these can be thrown inhere and there especially since they do kaand pe kaand and it's Pandya STORE!
