one thing here is that the timing of the plan also matters. Like say if he had started this plan wala thing right from the day he went to Islamabad then kudos to him. Otherwise he starts to plan when Raza tells him something now, it would still be problematic. Cuz all these episodes he has very much wronged Isra. So the timing of enlightenment is very important too.

Its also possible he heard Khala Jaan and the Dolls chatting loudly about how their plan was successful, that's why he looked at his hand in pain...coz this that time he was not aware or rather in 2 minds. It is also possible he had been planning since Islamabad but got confused when he "caught" Haaris and Isra in the room.
