Today's epi was OTT drama executed well. It was actually better than yesterday's drag fest because things actually moved.
First kudos to all the actors except YKW for acting out the OTT drama with subtleness & hence being able to sell it👏. Such OTT drama works only when the cast can sell it & the show is lucky to have such a talented cast.
Today's epi was a contrast in all the ways that mattered to the last time Adi was missing & his life was in danger. Many viewers have complained that no change has come in the elder Ts even after Adi was rescued by Imlie. But this time you can clearly see that change had come then just that they refused to accept & acknowledge it.
Last time the family had blamed Imlie & SK for Adi's disappearance even though they were not responsible for it in anyway. But this time even when they know that it is SK only who has harmed Adi, they have not turned against Imlie & her family. They all are being eachother's strength in this tragic time.
Last time the family had requested their golden bahu for help in finding Adi but this time even when she is living with them, no one has even asked her to help them in anyway which is the biggest indication that they have now accepted Imlie as their DIL even though they are still naaraz. Didi is not their bahu for them anymore. She & her mother have been relegated fully into the background as they really are no longer a part of the family. Meethi & NN are fully absorbed into the family & are playing the role of elders in the house who are keeping up everyone's haunsla alongwith Imlie.
I just love Imlie's faith & her belief in her BS & SM. This little girl manages to stay strong even in the direst circumstances & hence is inspirational. I loved how she managed to impart her own faith in the entire family & went ahead to find her BS with the blessings of both of her mother with her NN as well blessing her with sindoor. Meethi's Sada suhagan rahe aashirwad was the blessing that Imlie needed to strengthen her resolve & you could actually see the impact of the blessing on Imlie's resolve. ST was phenomenal as usual. KK also needs to be mentioned especially for her acting throughout the epi.
Meethi giving reality ka dose to Didi was too good. She made such valid points today that she had mistaken Didi to be a samajhdar aurat but she has realised that Didi is nothing but a ghamandi aurat who in her zidd to claim Adi brought about his doom. I just loved her rebuttal to Didi's "Woh mere bhi suhaag hai". She told her the truth that if Adi would have been hers then he would be with her but he is Imlie's husband. I also liked how she compared both their selves. She told Didi that she too had loved DC & had the choice to fight for the rights of her & her daughter but she gave it up for the sake of her mother's marriage. She kept the maan of their marriage & had expected Didi also to show the same dignity. But Didi has just brought about destruction in her zidd & ghamand.
PT asking Aparna to make the kheer & telling her that all of the family is praying for Adi's safety but it is only her who can make the maa ke haath ki kheer for her son. I loved how he assured her that their bahu will definitely bring back their son. Rupi Di joining in to reassure Aparna was w good touch.
I felt the last Oh Palanhare bit though good, got draggy with Imlie continuously searching for her BS. They could have cut short that bit. Otherwise the epi was paced well.
