She got a role from unknown studio, at least to me. HW is huge and getting to do movie from a major network is difficult, this is where PC scores.

I have no issue with DP but her PR does not do any favours by posting such articles. She should control her PR, does her PR even know what global star means.

Global star are those from all walks of life and low & high strata of people knows that star name, the only name that symbolizes comes to my mind is Michael Jackson.

Bold: This exactly what I said. DP did not do 4 cameos in huge movies with a TV yet you are comparing both saying she is an unknown face. Of course she is an unknown face, she isn’t Meghan Markle bestie.

I don't understand these kind of comments. I'm no fan of Deepika - I usually think she's boring and annoying. But STX is not an unknown studio. They've made movies like Bad Moms and Hustlers. Temple Hill was behind movies like the Twilight series, The Fault in our Stars, First Man and many others.

If Deepika is an unknown foreign star, what bigger studios would one expect her to get? It's also a lead role and not a 5-minute cameo. And if she's also a producer, how is that something horrible? Wasn't PC being praised for the same thing for being one amongst 15 producers in The White Tiger? At least the standards should be kept the same for everyone.

Deepika was awful in xXx and if she was able to bounce back and find another role, good for her. What is the need for certain fans of a certain other actress to be so hurt about it? If she's such a huge star, no need to worry about Deepika then.

Meghan Markle knew PC long before she started dating Harry. Anyway...

The point is, getting cameos in 10 Hollywood movies also requires talent. Especially when most of them WEREN'T cameos.

What is there to laugh about cameos? Are we confusing cameos with extras? The word cameo implies the actor is valuable as an ornament, we don't say Rakhi Sawant did a cameo in a Dharma/YRF film, we say SRK/Salman did a cameo in Dharma/YRF film. PC certainly didn't play extra in her movies. International media mostly uses PC's stills when they write about We Can Be Heroes, the most watched film on Netflix. Because PC's face attracts potential audience. Her TV show ran for 3 seasons because there had been audience. Many A-list HW actors failed to turn their limited edition series into a multi-seasoned one. Quantico survived 3 seasons despite bad reviews because of BW loving audience all over the world, not just Indians.
