Just know that I'm also clapping! So loudly! The writing is so inconsistent, it's giving me a headache to watch and no particular interest to participate in the discussions. Like do these things even warrant a discussion than just being a general waste of precious time?

Yes, what was the need of justifying the name change by showing Ishwari saying that she realised she had to change as well seeing how Ved accepted his new name which was so difficult for him? So Sona is now made to look like a fool for protesting and fighting the way she did to protect her son from this injustice? Ishwari was right, matter closed. She is shown to have changed for the better by allowing chicken into her house and Ayush, no sorry, Ved has finally accepted her as his dadi and so ta-ta bye bye to his OG grandparents and his first mother's blessings and all the sentiments attached to his first name-for instance, the fact that it is an integral part of his identity. All the crucial points that Sona brought up are just a moot point now. And Ishwari-Dev-Ved's hug today clearly is symbolic of Sona's place in that house they want her to call her home. The same Dev who hugged both Ishwari and Sonakshi on his birthday when his mom gave a moving mother-son speech. All of Sona's genuine worries have once more been reduced to her insecurities like the time she had a nightmare regarding Ishwari distancing Soha.

The episode was good!

But too much of disappointment. They are literally whitewashing Dev and Ishwari and making Sonakshi's genuine worries into insecurities.

Seriously, I detest Mamta Patnaik for this issue. How much time will you glorify Dev and underestimate Sonakshi? There should be some limit for everything.

Ayush called Ishwari as Dadi today. What is the point of suddenly hugging Dev instead of Ayush? First she hugged Dev and joined Ayush there. None of them bothered to call Sonakshi there. What nonsense!🤬

You may say that chicken issue considering the fact that he is a child. But, he took so much time for Sonakshi to bond with. In fact, we saw Sonakshi and Ayush bond more frequently. Regarding Dev, he bonded with Ayush first so it's completely fine. But why Ishwari?
