Chapter 37: The Golden Sword
Recap: Ayesha asking for permission, Shree's past cries, Shopping time, Arjun in thoughts, Sameer's second shikaar, Arjun managing everything, Crime reported.
In the lab postmortem is done by a doctor from a respected hospital organisation and after the said procedure, he takes a leave while Liza goes to the lab taking the reports.

In the office Jitesh's mobile is checked on but there is nothing which they could find as it was clean. No call log, no message, no files and no contacts. The only thing which they had was some cash and one identity card found in his pocket. Arjun was repeatedly trying to catch a clue from the cctv footage and something worked like magic when his eyes fell on the culprits wrist.
"Shree stop, aur zoom karo isski kalai pe." Arjun orders and Shree does as told. "Yeh kaisa nishaan hai? Tattoo jaisa lag raha hai, lekin hai kya?" Arjun thinks to himself as he sees the sleeve covers maximum part of the culprits hand.
Liza comes in with the report and hands it over to Arjun as Sameer gestures her to do. Arjun peeps into the file while the rest hear from Liza's mouth "Sir Jitesh pe waar Reverse S Curve knife se hua hai. Aur bas ek baar hi waar hua hai." Liza informs.
"Wow lagta hai ki khooni bohot hi experienced hai iss chaaku se waar karne mein." Sakshi replies amused.
"Haan hoga kyun nahi. Aise logon ko bachpan se aise kaam sikhaye jaate hai, tab jaake woh aise waar kar paate hai." Chotu answers looking at Sakshi amused.
"Lekin sir ab hum iss tatoo waale insaan ko dhundenge kaise? Aur kahaan?" Shree asks and looks at both his seniors for a solution.
"Karan ko call laga Rawate. Woh zaroor kuch pata laga sakta hai." Sameer states and Arjun does as told. He calls his "Yaar" for information and leaves the table in order to have a talk without any disturbance.
"Shera bol bol kya chal raha hai?" He greets Arjun jovially, hearing which automatically a smile creeps on his lips.
"Main theek hun. Tumhaari ek madad ki zaroorat thi mujhe." Arjun states with a sheepish grin. "Haan haan bol mujhse jo ban paayega main karunga." Karan assures.
"Humein ek murder case mila hai. Aur uss mein khooni ne reverse S Curve knife use kiya hai jo bohot kam use karte hai apradhi. Mujhe jaan na hai ki yeh kon ho sakta hai jo aise chaaku chalane mein maahir ho." Arjun takes a pause after giving the brief. He hopes that Karan has understood and will help them.
Karan smiles and with a loud voice answers "Zaroor shera. Main pata lagaunga. Aur kuch?" He asks.
"Haan uss aadmi ke kalayi pe matlab wrist pe saanp jaisa kuch bana hai. Main photo bhejta hun tujhe." Karan nods and Arjun continues "Aur jald se jald mujhe information chahiye. Time waste toh bilkul mat karna." Arjun warns and hangs up on the phone.
Karan smiles disbelievingly "Kamaal hai madad chahiye janab ko lekin ache se nahi maang sakta. Uss mein bhi sau kilo ka gussa milana hi hota hai. Chal beta Karan, Simmi ko leke kaam pe lag jaa." Karan speaks to himself. "Heroine, kahan reh gayi?" and hastily he goes to get Simran.
He searches for her everywhere but finds no trace. He starts panicking as her parents death anniversary is coming soon and she has been grieving since many days. Though she doesn't show it, Karan understands. On not seeing her around he starts checking all the vehicles when he finds her sitting behind one of the cars quietly, weeping to herself.
Karan heaves a sigh of relief first "Thank you Bhagwan ji." and then slowly walks to Simran and sits beside her. Simran realises that he has come and snuggles to him while he caresses her hair. She cries and cries and Karan keeps on passing her the tissues. After half an hour has passed, Karan shows Simran a photo of the tattoo. She immediately realises work has been given and she gets up stronger.
He gives her all the details which Arjun had given him and she starts working on her laptop collecting information. The two make a few phone calls too and try gathering as much information as possible.
"Yeh saanp ka jo tattoo hai na, bilkul aisa hi ek tattoo ek aadmi ke kalayi pe bani hai jisska naam Shiva hai. " Simran immediately informs.
When Karan counter-questions her "Par yahi woh insaan hai yeh kaise bata sakti hai tu?"
"Karan thoda toh dimaag mere paas bhi hai. Iss Shiva ka criminal record check kiya maine. Usske "Special" chaaku se uss ne kayi logon pe itna chedh kar diya hai ki unn mein se aadhe mar gaye hai aur baaki paani ke sahare jee rahe hai." She answers with a mocking smirk.
"Waah meri sherni!" Karan appreciates while slightly leaning on her shoulder. Simran laughs at this and smacks his head.
"Oye, Arjun ko jaake yeh information dena bhi hai." He says as she walks away from him. Simran looks at him and nods in a yes.
"Toh usske pehle kuch acha sa lunch karke jaate hai. Kya bolti hai?" Karan asks her and she smiles lightly. Both then go to their favourite lunch spot and have bhar pet khana. This slightly cheers up Simmi and Karan smiles seeing her relish the lunch.
After lunch they head to ETF office where all were waiting for that one clue to take the next step.
Arjun time and again has been checking the time. "Kahan reh gaya Karan? Abhi tak aaya kyun nahi." He thinks to himself when both Karan and Simmi arrive.
Both greet everyone and proceed with giving the details. "Yeh Shiva hai. Bachpan se isske haath jurm ke kaaran gande hi rahe hai. Iss chaaku ki madad se issne kayi logon ki jaan li hai, lekin kyunki isse jail mein rakhna mushkil hai, har baar jaldi chuth jaata hai. 'Knifemaster' bhi bulate hai isse" Simran states and all listen to her each and every detail carefully.
"Chotu iss Shiva ka pata lagao." Arjun orders at once but Karan stops "Ruk ja Shera. Humesha ghode pe sawar hone ki zaroorat nahi hai. Main bhi kaam kar leta hun kabhi kabhi." Karan dramatically adds and Arjun gives him a disbelief nod. All the others smile at his talks.
Karan soon messages him and Sameer the address. "Babban shera tujhe bhi send kiya. Mila?" he asks looking at Sameer. Arjun finds it difficult to control his laughter and Sameer just passes a death stare to both Karan-Arjun. Karan for the naamkaran and Arjun for laughing, even though he didn't.
"Karan maine kaha tha na ki mujhe iss naam se bulaane ki zaroorat nahi hai." Sameer sternly states and Karan just stands quietly not paying attention to any of his words and smiling naughtily. Sameer was about to reprimand Karan again when Arjun intervenes,
"Apni energy zaya mat karo Rathore. Yeh sudharne wala nahi hai." Arjun and Karan both share a smirk while Sameer just rolls his eyes. The juniors enjoy the sight of an annoyed Rathore.
The next moment they hear Arjun's voice "Chotu, tum, main aur Rathore Shiva ke chawl jaake pata lagate hai ki aakhir Jitesh ko maarne ki supaari isse di kissne?"
"Sir aapko aisa kyun lagta hai ki Shiva ko supaari di gayi hogi?" Shree asks doubtful that there was a third party involved.
"Shree bhai woh kya hai na har criminal ka ek rulebook hota hai. Aur iss Shiva ke rulebook ka pehla rule hai- jo bhi karunga paise ke liye karunga. Paise isski motivation hai." Shree slightly nods his head as Karan explains more about Shiva.
Soon Chotu, SamJun leave from the office and soon after them, Simran and Karan also leave. "Ab iss Shiva se hi kuch pata lag sakta hai." Sakshi firmly states and all nod at this while working with the backgrounds of Shiva and Jitesh.
Mumbai chawl is the one place which is always mentioned in the "places to visit" list of every foreigner. Here the people slog day and night for a living and make each second count. Either it be while working or living life to the fullest. And after a whole day of work, the sleep hits different! But here people with various professional background live. So it is difficult to even judge a whole area by one person or profession.
Since the lane is very narrow ahead, Sameer parks the jeep at a distance and from there the trio walk asking directions to reach Shiva.
"Bhaisaab yeh Shiva kahan milega?" Chotu asks a passer-by and he directs them to a man sitting at a tea stall nearby and talking. All walk towards him when Shiva gets signalled by his friends "Shiva bhaag ETF aayi hai."
As soon as he hears it, he springs in action and runs for his life. The friends too run in different directions, but the main target was Shiva hence all the three follow him.
Since the whole chawl is like a puzzle and there are many ways to reach one destination Arjun and Sameer diverge their ways while Chotu runs behind Shiva.
He stops when he sees Arjun walking towards him and he immediately plans to run in opposite direction where Sameer was already waiting for him. Before he could find some other way Chotu holds him in his clutches. He is thrown to a corner and the three encircle him for interrogation.
"Jitesh ko kyun maara?" Arjun asks, but Shiva stays quiet. This angers Arjun even more and he clenches his fist, "Bata de warna main do baar bhi nahi sochunga tujhe maarne se pehle." saying so he warns. But Shiva smiles not paying any heed to Arjun's words.
Chotu gets angry at this behaviour of Shiva. Someone disrespect their Arjun sir would not be tolerated by anyone of them. He holds Shiva by the collar "Aye suna nahi kya Arjun sir ne kya pucha! Jawab de!" he orders in a strict voice. But seeing that Shiva is not budging he slaps him.
"I say stop it!" Sameer orders. One instruction from their chief and they oblige to him. Sameer looks at Shiva smiling shamelessly and with a smirk sits down on his legs.
"Tum jaante ho maine isse kyun roka?" he asks pointing at Chotu but Shiva doesn't answer.
"Taaki main tumhe isske hawale kar sakun." pointing at Arjun he states. Arjun looks at him shocked, but Sameer continues "waise tumhaare business mein rivals ke haathon maare jaana bohot common hai. Aur agar isski satak gayi aur issne maar bhi dala tumhe toh rival war samajhkar case close kar degi department." And hearing this the smile on his face disappears and it turns more into fear.
He thought the police can't do anything other than hitting him for answers, and hence he was stress-free. How much will they hit? After all the money which he got was more than enough to get him to a hospital for a proper treatment. But him being killed by them was out of the syllabus. Aakhir jaan sabko pyaari hai.
"Aur jawab ki fikr mat karo woh hum pata laga lene. Rawate take over." saying so Sameer gets up and was about to move when Shiva pleads him "Nahi sahab mere saath aise mat karo. Apun sab batayega na. Bas iss aadmi ke saath mat bhejo." Sameer smiles and so does Arjun. Chotu also has a small smile on his face.
"Chal bata." Arjun orders.
"Woh mujhe M.K ne yeh karne ko bola tha. Woh yeh sone ki talwar leke yahan se bhaagne wala hai. Aur Jitesh se woh churane ke liye mujhe 1 laakh bhi diya." He answers. By now the three understood that it was the sword which Jitesh was carrying and because of that he lost his life.
"Kab bhagne wala hai?" Arjun asks strictly, to which he answers "aaj raat ko."
"M.K kahan milega?." Arjun orders and Shiva trembles more. Sameer smiles lightly as his warning worked on him. "Sahab main aapko uss jagah ka pata de sakta hun Jahan maine Talwar pahunchayi thi." Shiva states.
Arjun just glares at him and the next moment he is seen giving them the address. Chotu takes note and they leave taking Shiva with them. He is handed over to the nearest police station.
They come back to the ETF office and on the way Arjun asks Sameer "Kya tu sach mein Shiva ko mere hawale kar deta Rathore?" At which Sameer smiles "You wish Rawate!" and winks at him. Chotu looks down while having a smile on his face.
They soon reach the office and the whole story is briefed up to them. It was evening and M.K would leave at night which meant they had to capture him soon.
All get ready adorning the gears and bulletproof jackets. Sakshi and Liza stay back in the office as the place can be risky and fatal. Soon they reach the hideout.
As soon as they step in firing starts and to stop that these too fire. During this firing M.K tries to escape while Arjun shoots on his knee. All stop when they hear M.K scream.
This was the distraction much needed and as soon as the focus of the shooters divert, Ayesha, Shree and Chotu catch hold of them while Arjun and Sameer catch hold of an injured M.K.
M.K holds the bag very close to himself and doesn't let go of it so easily. But one strong pull from Arjun and the sword falls. Arjun was about to pick it up when Sameer stops him "Bina gloves ke usse chuna mat Rawate." and hearing this Arjun stops.
Shree comes forward and packs the sword as needed, without leaving any fingerprints of his own. "Ab talwar bhi chali gayi. Ab bolo." Sameer states and looks at M.K. All wait for him to answer.
"Jaipur ke Mahinder Rajawat ko aap sab jaante hi hai. Yeh unhi ke gharane ki sone ki talwar hai. Unke sabse bade bete ne yeh talwar mujhe diya taaki main isse videsh bech dun. Client ko dene jane wala tha main lekin aap aa gaye. Iss talwar ka 10% mujhe milta lekin..."
"Lekin hum aa gaye. Hai na?" Arjun continues M.K's sentence.
"Jitesh ko kyun mara?" Ayesha asks.
"Woh talwar leke bhaagne wala tha. Toh usski khoti niyat samajh li maine aur usse maar dala." M.K answers without any hesitation.
Chotu takes M.K out and hands him over to the police. The sword goes to the ETF lab for any evidence to be submitted to the court. Soon all reach office and Shree tells Sakshi whatever took place there. "Hmmm.. very interesting..." she murmurs loudly being very much audible to Arjun.
"Itna interesting kya hai Miss Sakshi Anand?" he asks scrunching his brows.
"Ki ek shahi talwar ke liye humein bas itni hi bhaag daud karni padi. Pata hai last time ek aisa hi case aya tha manuscripts ki, usse solve karte waqt itna confusion main pad gaye na officers ki kya bolun. Aur woh sab compile karte waqt toh..." She was about to speak further when Arjun voices his disinterest
"Miss Anand! Yeh story telling aap ghar mein kar sakti hai. Audience bhi hai. (pointing at juniors) Yahaan isski zaroorat nahi hai." he strictly states and Sakshi just hangs her head in disappointment. All smile at this banter of Arakshi.
Sameer comes in along with Liza while Liza looks totally confused. "Mujhe ek announcement karni hai." Sameer states and all attention gets diverted towards him.
"Kal se main chahta hun humaare do officers Sakshi aur Liza ko physical training di jaaye jiss mein weapons use karna bhi sikhaya jaayega." Both Sakshi and Liza stare with eyes wide open and Ayesha, Chotu , Shree just smile at this new announcement.
"Baat yahan khatam nahi hui hai." saying so he gets everyone's attention back to himself. "Liza ko training Chotu aur Ayesha denge, aur Sakshi ko Arjun." His this statement gets the whole conference silent. No one knows how to react especially Arjun and when he tries voicing out "Rathore main kaise?" Sameer stops him
"This is an order. Aur kal subah se yeh training start honi chahiye. I hope it's clear!" Arjun just glares at Sameer and Sakshi just has a nervous expression plastered on her face. The others smile evilly as they know what will happen if Sakshi and Arjun are together.
Getting no response Sameer dismisses the team and leaves to his cabin to collect his wallet and files.
"Sameer tumne kya sochke mujhe Arjun se training dilwane ki baat kar di? Woh na apni saari frustration nikaal dega mujh pe. Shayad 100 km bhaagne ke liye bhi bol de. Sameer!!" Sakshi states out of nervousness.
Sameer knew this would be her worry and he sits next to her "Sakshi main apne dost ko janta hun woh aisa kuch nahi karega. Relax! Breathe!" Sakshi does as told and feels a bit at ease. Yes Arjun wouldn't torture her now and she knew it.
"Take this as an opportunity." Sameer mindlessly states as he wants his friend to fall in love again and he very well knows what his sister feels for Arjun.
Soon he realises what he uttered when he sees Sakshi looking at him with eyes widened. "Mera matlab hai to build yourself." He states with a smirk, which doesn't help anything. Sakshi lowers her head as she is completely flushed out. Sameer sees that and smile to himself.
"Ab chale?" he asks and Sakshi just nods her head slightly. Both come out of the cabin.
Arjun is waiting for him, folding his hands across his chest. Sameer when notices this finds it best to ignore and moves ahead. Arjun follows him till the basement and as soon as they reach the basement, Arjun pounces on Sameer. He catches hold of him by his neck from behind and lightly strangles him. "Kar kya raha hai Rawate? What's wrong with you?"
"What's wrong with me? Tum batao! Kya kiya hai tumne?" Arjun asks angrily not losening his grip even a bit.
"Dekh Sakshi aur Liza ki bhalai ke liye kiya. Unn dono ko bhi toh attack aur defend karna seekhna hoga. Hai na? Mujhe chod de mere baap." Sameer answers with great difficulty. Seeing that it's getting difficult for him Arjun leaves him and Sameer takes a deep breath.
"Dekh Rathore agar tumne yeh kissi aur matlab se kiya hai na, toh mujhse bura koi nahi hoga." saying so Arjun warns him.
"Hai bhi kon?" Sameer murmurs slowly. "Koi dosara matlab nahi hai bhai. Ab chal ghar chal. So ja! Kal subah utna bhi toh hai." He smirks as he knows how much Arjun hates getting up early. Arjun glares at him which means Sameer has to stop. He understands and both drive quietly to their home.
Here in juniors home Liza is pleading Ayesha and Chotu to not be harsh on her. "Dekho aaj tak na mujhe 400m ki race puri nahi hui hai. Mujhe torture mat karo. Jesus is watching you all. Please!"
Ayesha and Chotu laugh when Ayesha speaks "Don't worry jitna zaroori hoga utna hi." This eases Liza out from the stress of having to do heavy exercise.
"Haan ek baar mein hum race nahi daudne boleneg." Chotu states while Shree gets disappointed that Liza won't be tortured. Liza notices that "Awww Specky mere torture hone ke sapna dekh rahe the na. Dekho sapna hi reh gaya." and sticks her tongue out. Shree also does the same as he glares at her.
"Torture toh main houngi woh bhi uss Akdu Rawate ke haathon. Bappa bacha lena mujhe." Sakshi prays and the others laugh at her delusion.
Sakshi opens her one eye and sees that all are giggling. "Kya hua?" she asks and stops praying.
"Sakshi tu jaanti hai na ki Arjun sir tujhe kuch torture nahi karenge." Shree states and all agree with him.
"Huh?" Sakshi scrunches her eyebrows in question.
"Haan woh ab teri baaton se, harkaton se chidenge lekin tujhe torture bilkul nahi karenge." Chotu adds.
"Ab toh madam aapko bas itna sochna hai ki aap Arjun sir ke dil mein jagah kaise banaengi." Liza adds and all agree with her.
Sakshi gets a shock at this. She immediately speaks up to avoid further confusion "Main aisa kuch nahi karungi jiss se Arjun hurt ho. Arjun ke dil ka pata nahi lekin usski zindagi mein as a friend main ek choti si bhi jagah bana paun na toh main apne aap ko bohot lucky manungi."
All understand her feelings and don't talk about it much. They have their dinner, Sakshi feeds Hope and joins them. After dinner as usual they take their supplements and the medicine prescribed by Dr. Grewal. They share a group hug before going to sleep. The next day was a huge one, especially for Sakshi.
The next morning Ayesha and Chotu take Liza to the ground for training. Early morning exercise Ayesha always dreaded. She never liked waking up so early in the morning and internally she was cursing Rathore for the same. "Yeh Rathore sir bhi na subah kon training karta hai?" she cries mentally while Chotu and Liza walk upto her.

"Subah jaldi uthke kaisa lag raha hai?" Liza questions jokingly and Ayesha just rolls her eyes.
"Chal chid mat. Thodi kasrat karenge na toh teri yeh chid bhi gayab ho jayegi." Chotu suggests and Ayesha agrees.
All together jog for few minutes and later start with exercises and actual training.
Early morning and an even more Sadu Arjun. What a perfect combination it is! He waits for Sakshi at the indoor track and soon she enters. Hair tied up in a pony and wearing an athletic wear she walks upto Arjun.

Arjun nods his head as soon as she stands in front of him. He looks at her well prepared and confident for the training. Sakshi falshes a big smile and Arjun as usual ignores it.
"Good morning Arjun." she starts. But Arjun doesn't answer instead he simply nods.
"Run!" Arjun commands. Sakshi did not understand anything as this was her first day.
"I said run Sakshi!" Arjun expands his statement looking at her confused face.
Sakshi glances at him once and with a belief that he won't make a mockery of her, she runs. Arjun calculates her speed and notes it down once she finsihes. He trains her with a few exercises and teaches her some tactics which she can use when in trouble.
After a 2 hour session both the groups get tired and most importantly Sakshi and Liza. They gave their best and their trainers were really proud of them. All rush home to freshen up and get ready for office. Liza is yet to test the sword for evidence and they too have to inform the Rajawat's and safely hand it back to them.
Arjun enters home and screams for Sameer. "Sam kahan hai tu?"
Sameer opens the main door and Arjun turns to look at him "Tu bahar se kaise?" he asks.
"Exercise main bhi karta hun Rawate. Come on! Woh bhi subah, tumhari tarah raat ko nahi." he states and Arjun rolls his eyes.

"Fresh ho jaa. Bohot thak gaya hoga na subah jaldi uthkar." Sameer jokes. Arjun just glares at him for making fun of his situation and goes to freshen up. Sameer sets up the table and uses the guest room washroom to freshen up.
Sakshi and Liza enter all tired along with Ayesha and Chotu supporting them. "Main thak chuki hoon." Liza says as she sits back on the sofa.
Sakshi too sits back lazily and doesn't get up from there. It was their first day, hence it was tiring enough to make them rest back. Chotu searches for Shree as he had planned to order from outside after seeing Liza and Sakshi's condition.
It is well known to them that Ayesha can do anything except getting up early in the morning and cooking. She can wake Shree and Chotu up once she gets up, she can get them coffee and sit next to them when sick but not getting up at 5:00 in the morning and cooking.
A bell is heard which excites Hope and he comes out running. All laugh looking at Hope's excitement. Chotu goes to open the door and looks at Shree standing in front with good food which he went to parcel.

"Maine socha ki kyun na main bhi exercise kar lun. Issiliye main jog pe gaya. Phir maine realise kiya ki aaj Sakshi aur Liza ka pehla din hai jisska matlab hai woh thake hue honge aur inhe rest ki zaroorat hogi. Issiliye main yeh khana lete hue aaya." Shree answers all the questions which were printed on the face of his friends.
All giggle at the way he answered and get ready to eat their breakfast. Ayesha serves all of them and even gets them their Ayesha special coffee. She feeds Hope and then joins them for breakfast.
After breakfast all freshen up and get ready for their file day. A very boring day but even a stress free day for them.
All reach office on time. Sameer asks Sakshi and Liza how was the training and they answer truthfully. Liza heads to the lab and checks for any evidence which she can find. Here, Shree takes out the number of Rajawat family and contacts Mahinder Rajawat.
His P.A picks up the call and after a brief introduction hands it to Mahinder. Shree to passes on the phone to Sameer.
"Mahinder ji hum Mumbai ETF se bol rahe hai." Sameer introduces the team.
"Haan ji boliye. Kya seva kar sakte hai hum aapki." Mahinder politely speaks.
"Aapke ghar ki amulya cheez humaare paas hai..... Aapki sone ki talwaar." Sameer states and Mahinder gets happy listening to it. It was like the best news he had heard in his lifetime. But he soon turns serious.
"Ji kya aap yeh baat media se chupaaye rakh sakte hai. Aapke bohot ehsaan hai hum par. Lekin hum nahi chahte ki yeh chori ki baat bahar pahunche. Aap samajh sakte hai na!" he requests and Sameer understands and agrees to it.
After a cordial goodbye Sameer cuts the call. "Unke secretary yahan aayenge aur woh talwaar leke jaayenge." Sameer states and all nod in positive.
Liza enters the office in a hurry and while entering she even collides with a chair, but she anyhow makes her way to the conference. All notice that she is flushed out but don't know the reason.
"Congratulations Chipkali! Bina kissi fracture ke tum conference tak pahunch gayi." Shree humorously states. But looking at her flushed face Arjun stops him. "Shree!!"
"Bolo Liza kya hua?" Sameer asks concerned.
Liza takes time to comprehend her thoughts into words and then in a breath she utters "Sir woh talwaar nakli hai." All look at her shocked.
There is a chaos in the conference as all are asking Liza what and how except SamJun. Arjun at once yells "Isse bolne ka mauka do!" and all realise their mistake and keep quiet.
"Sir M.K ko nakli talwaar mili thi. Yeh woh asli wali hai hi nahi. Isse banate waqt bohot patience se bilkul waise ka waisa hi banaya hai lekin yeh woh hai hi nahi." She answers.
"Are you sure ki M.K ko nakli talwaar mili thi? Kahin kissine baad mein adla badli toh nahi kar diya." Ayesha questions but Liza clears her doubt
"No Ayesha. Kyunki packing ke waqt maine ek tracker fit kiya tha, kyunki yeh bohot kimti hai main nahi chahti thi ki humaare side se kuch gadbad ho. Yeh humaare taraf se badla hua nahi hai." she states and all now get a clear view.
"Toh asli talwar kahan ho sakti hai? Aur yeh nakli talwar Jitesh ko kaise mila hoga?" Shree questions.
"Yeh toh Rajawat's hi bata sakte hai humein." Arjun states and all nod their head in positive.
"Aur isske liye humein Jaipur jana hoga." Sameer states and has a sheepish grin on his face.
"Issmein itna darne waali baat kya hai?" Arjun asks though he too is nervous.
"Yaad hai 9 saal pehle hum gaye the Jaipur, ek honour killing case ke silsile mein. Tum, main, Chotu, Shree, Riya. Yaad hai?" Sameer asks and Arjun nods his head in positive so do Chotu and Shree.
"Tab hum ghar gaye?" Sameer asks Arjun and now Arjun lets out a sigh in fear. "L..l..lek..k..in ma..i..nnn gussa tha na!" he nervously states as he knows that it is not an answer.
He was angry with Sameer not his family whom he considered his own family. "Lekin tu kyun dar raha hai? Uss case ke baad kabhi na kabhi tu gaya hoga na?" Arjun questions dreaded in fear.
He just doesn't want to hear those three words from Sameer's mouth. But Arjun hears it "Main bhi nahi gaya inn 9 saalon mein. Tujhe bataya tha na maine.!"
"9 saal nahi bataya tune. Mujhe laga 2-3 saal ho gaye honge. Tera dimaag kharab hai Sam? Tu kyun nahi gaya?" Arjun asks in anger.
"Kaam mein busy tha na. But I was in touch with them. Video calls mein connected rehte the hum. Bas ghar nahi gaya main inn 9 saalon mein" Sameer states nervously.
"Main toh video calls ke through bhi touch mein nahi tha. Mera kya hoga?" Arjun asks slowly.
Sameer looks at him and takes a deep breath "Wahi hoga jo manzoore Maasa hoga." And both slouch back on their seats.
In this interval they forgot that their juniors were sitting and observing their seniors dreaded with fear. They did not know how to react. Sameer and Arjun both were sons to Masa and she too loved them dearly. The eldest among them was Samar, their elder brother.
After the most horrific incident Arjun had secluded himself from everyone including Sameer and this had always been Sameer's reason for anger. But along with Sameer Arjun had distanced himself from many other people, which included the Rathores. He did not talk to anyone of them for 9 years, neither was he in touch. He didn't know how will all react. They never spoke to him on call as Maasa would cut whenever he would come on-line. Arjun wanted to go meet them, but all of a sudden now? He is getting a rush of emotions. He doesn't know how to face them.
The juniors realise the relationship which Arjun shared with Sameer's family and the turmoil which Arjun might be going through. Sameer too knew what could happen in Jaipur and hence he too was nervous. It could be a flood of emotions and for that they have to leave much earlier than thought.
Sameer soon gets in touch with Coelho, and their tickets for the same day evening Jaipur flight gets booked. Now Sameer took the responsibility of getting Arjun and the family to patch up. Now it was time for Arjun to be happy and Sameer would make sure of it.
