It's after confession. Actually the police department organised to felicitate the spouses of the police officers who helped their spouses to solve a case and since Imon helped Rono to catch those gang by getting kidnapped , so police department was to felicitate her on Independence Day occasion. So he was happy as she was getting award from his hands.
