Hello everyone so I’ve been a silent reader for let’s say the longest time possible. So finally after mustering up confidence, and preparing a full-length storyline. I am here, so considering this to be my first outing as an ff writer I hope you’ll oversee small mistakes and give feedback for the required.
Prologue:
“Nothing bad to hold onto good memories,” He said;
“What if I want to hold on to be, you not memories” She replied looking at him hopefully.
He smiled at her tenderly and just shook his head.
“Holding on makes one of us happy and letting go gives me solace, this or that. If holding on makes you happy, I am okay being unhappy for a lifetime”
she smiled sadly “ only if I have that courage” she immediately turned to him and held his hands and looked at him hopefully “ will you please love me like this forever,” He raised his hand and placed it on her head and before he said anything he saw one of his teammates enter the place with a letter in hand
“We have an important meeting with Caption, see you at basecamp in 15 minutes,” He said this and went away giving some time for their final bye. He looked at her and smiled “ I love you and will always love you, but this shouldn’t stop you from having a happy life – advance happy married life Riya” He said and before his tears made out of his eyes, he left the place.
She finally sat down on her knees as the situation and her heart started sinking in. The one figure which is disappearing out of her sight wasn't the same man she met in her teens, she ran into again in her early 20’sand now the same matured man serving as a doctor in the army. She looked at the engagement ring in her hand silently wiped her tears, kept a wedding card on his desk, and rushed out of that place.
