I know a Telugu movie, where heroine, a village girl requests her parents to let her study in city. Her Father takes a promise ( due to his past disturbances) that she should not fall in love and marry the person whom he chose. She gives promise and moves to the city , stays in relatives house for studies. Despite of hero trials, she doesn't respond to his love. Her father finds an alliance, sends the groom photo in post. Hero friends exchange the groom's photo with hero. She started assuming that hero is the groom whom her father has selected or assume that he has convinced her father. She will develop feelings and fall in love. Finally the truth is revealed and when her life is in risk thr original groom run away but hero will save her, finally her father gets convinced. I think these kind of situations may arise and sumati may melt
