For me, bc I just rewatched those episodes (the precap was the marriage promo) the promo, esp with the way she was walking with the white saree and pallu floating, and then throwing the saree into the fire, and grabbing Raghav's hand herself. It was so powerful. Shivi looked so striking in those shots, as simple as it was.

I love everything about this shot. Shivi, as Pallavi, looks sooo powerful & seductive here. I just don't know how else to describe it. Like she knows she has the upper hand here (and there's nothing wrong with that). Raghav is there, in the background, in all his anger, yet she's in the front and it's such a power play shot between them two. This image is probably why a lot of people thought the story would be even more "intense" or "dark" than it is now (I think it's intense enough for ITV - I know what we can and can't have on these platforms. And that's why FF/VMs exists :D)

@bold: yesss let's dooo it bc I rewatched pre-marriage episodes a few weeks ago & i'm rewatching hyd/early marriage track right now. Can we do that here? (Is that ok with everyone?) MF is scary sometimes LOL

Fria, you are so right about the power play and it really shows in this picture (super stunning btw) and the promo.

The promo as you rightly pointed out, it was Pallavi forcing him to out the sindoor and it looked more like she's forcing his hand than the other way around. It really showed that she's his equal and he can't force her to do anything. It's not a one sided hate marriage (most itv shows are one sided hate marriage from the guy's side).

If you recollect, there's this scene of Pallavi with Krishna (before the marriage) where she clearly tells her that when they will marry she's going to be the wife and how the wife has certain powers over her husband which she clearly intended to exploit (the vault key incident, room clothes incident and the reception incident were proof).

She is a tigress in her own right and the only one who could stand up to the mighty Raghav Rao.

As far as the picture goes, it is so telling of who is in power. He's in the background and she's calling the shots. Shivangi looks stunning in both promo and this picture. It is powerful and seductive. Can you elaborate on what you mean by intense and dark (I'm sleeping after this post but will reply to you tomorrow).

I'm somehow glad the revenge track was cut short and MU was solved earlier (not sure if this was planned or done due to covid). Raghav after marriage but pre MU clearing was also so smitten and a sweet Rao, i don't think he would have been able to counter any of her attacks 😆

I think they thought to go in typical dark revenge type routes but yes covid ruined their plans. The constant shuffling of locations and hotel hampered their plans. They literally didn't have much scope in that small hotel rooms. Even sometimes I feel the camera would not take the appropriate angles and shots they wanted

Else pallavi would too have gone on the same destruction just like raghav did for his mother and sister but with morality
