This is exactly what I've been trying to say. And my point is simple - regardless of what she meant (and it's a huge IF), anyone who speaks Hindi will tell you that this sounds very cheap. Toh when someone told you that - ke it sounds bad to say - have the grace to accept and apologise na? But no no - everyone must always understand poor Akku and her background and culture and language and hamare yahaan aise hi baat karte hain.

Haan yaar - but even leading up to it I feel she's mellowed. On two instances where I expected her to blow up - she didn't. 1.) where that juvenile mean girl Divya was making fun of Neha's last name, and 2.) when Akku made that taang kholna comment. Ulta she was explaining herself on the latter - ke she has an ankle issue iss like she puts her foot up. I was rather 😲 😕 🤔
