Farhad was not going to let Raghav leave the mansion and stood as a physical barrier to his exit, disobeying his Anna and not stepping aside. Raghav struck him down but that didn't deter Farhad from grabbing Raghav's leg to physically stop him from stepping out of the mansion in that murderous rage. Amma managed to grab the gun out of Raghav's hand and he only stilled when she fired the bullet (quite an unsafe thing to do, but I get that the wanted that dramatic flair in the scene!). The servants appeared out of nowhere but she sent them away perhaps because she didn't want anyone witnessing this scene or to be scared of the gunshot (they live with the Raos so I guess they are already willing to risk working for a don).
That scene looked so very real. I was in awe of that scene! brilliantly done by all three of them👏
We have seen this time and again. The Raos' tragedy was in large part a result of Raghav not thinking about the consequences of his actions and 10 years later, he was still having trouble in his life because of his bullheadedness. It is no secret that I have been disappointed with the way they handled his "reconciliation" with Amma. It was too soon and still on the surface level, with none of the trauma being addressed head on.
This scene actually reassured me that the writers haven't forgotten about it, because in her outburst, Jaya touched upon one of the problematic areas. However, she didn't talk about her own anger, which had also contributed to the estrangement. At some point in the story they should link this to how it affected Keerti being torn between mother and brother.
@b agreed! amma is also at fault for why kirti developed that resentment for raghav in the first place. She was too young to understand anything..it has to be amma who fed her with all those resentments both intentionally and unintentionally. Not many seeing it that way, unfortunately. Most of the viewers are like why does kirti hate raghav for no reason and all when it all ( ignoring the after sunny wala kirti here deliberately). Even before sunny came in the picture, amma was the one somehow pushed her in that frame and raghav's overprotectiveness also did more harm than good.
A lot has been said about Raghav hitting Farhad. First of all, it was not deliberately done with the purpose of hurting Farhad physically or emotionally. Raghav was a like a raging bull who was seeing red at that moment, totally out of his mind, which is exactly why Farhad chased after him to stop him from making a grave mistake. He has obviously seen his Anna's fury over the years and the destruction it must have brought. While those were business dealings, this was his Anna's personal life and he wasn't about to let him throw it all away in a fit of rage, no matter what it took. He couldn't stop Raghav from going so he held on to his leg to physically stop him. We know Farhad is physically strong but Raghav was in beast mode ready to burn the world down along with himself.
You already know my views on this😳
I have to applaud the camera work here for the way they showed Farhad and Amma standing behind him. All three of them were battling their emotions, feeling a common pain, knowing that this was very difficult time for everyone, but still very much each other's support through all the anger. I fell more in love with Farhad today for his unwavering support and devotion to his Anna. He was in tears, not for himself, but because he couldn't see his Anna and Amma like this.
@b You and I both! ❤️ I dying to know why did raghav manage to earn that much devotion and loyalty from farhad in the first place😭😭 Cvs really should explore this angle instead of showing D gang🤢
Amma knew her son had crossed his limits by hitting Farhad (I wonder if this was the first time Raghav had hit him). She immediately apologized to him on her son's behalf, which Farhad of course brushed away saying no, please (there was no need for her to apologize). You could see Farhad shaking with emotion, and this really got me because even in tough times Farhad has managed to keep his cool. This Mandaar issue has riled him up too because of late we've been seeing his anger with Mandaar for what he was doing to their family. You could see him visibly collecting himself before walking up to Raghav to put a reassuring hand on his shoulder, and in a gentle voice pleading with him to see reason.
These lines really made me emotional.
Anna, aap jo chaahe woh kar sakte hain mere saath, lekin Anna main haath jodta hoon, please shaant ho jao Anna. ❤️
This gave Raghav pause and he then stormed off into his room. Farhad was still visibly upset about the situation and walked off too, leaving Amma all shaken and wondering what to do next.
As everyone has been saying, Raghav is blessed to have a friend, a brother like Farhad who's undying loyalty and love for him is are to find these days. It is unconditional, pure, and precious. It's moments like these that remind you why Farhad is on the list of people who Raghav would sacrifice himself for. I really love this character and want to see more of him on screen with Raghav. ❤️
WORD!
Mandaar and Sunny are stupid. If they want to weaken Raghav they need to just attack Farhad or Raghav's bond with Farhad. If that breaks, so will Raghav. Farhad was there for him when no one else was. I am guessing they met as teenagers when Raghav first moved to Hyderabad and have seen ups and downs together.
I was also thinking on the same line. Why is none of the enemies be it Ved, Sunny or Mandar not striking on this bonding instead of doing faltu drama with drug and all🤪 Like you've said Farhad is basically the backbone of the raghav rao...if that breaks so does raghav rao.
But then again, I'm happy that cvs aren't going that way. i don't trust them enough to handle this angle without spoiling the very essence of FaRag. nahi chahiye yeh.😆 We've already seen how well they have handled kirti and mansi going "grey"🤣🤣
Don't hate me for this, but this scene made me change my mind and showed me why Farhad would be the right life partner for Keerti. Not only would she find a loyal husband but a very understanding and patient man who would know how to handle her with all her flaws and trauma, since he knows everything about the Raos and accepted them the way they are. She needs a man who can love her unconditionally and protect her, make her feel needed and wanted, and I know Farhad is that man. He is already family and the transition for him would be a no-brainer. No idea where the makers will go with this because Sunny will be exposed on day.
Sorry, bud but gotta disagree on this one completely! 😳 Whether Kirti deserves Farhad or not is a debate for some other day. But Farhad most definitely doesn't deserve to end up Kirti. Not after everything she did to both him and his anna-bhabhi. Farhad will be the most perfect life partner for anyone IMO but Kirti simply doesn't deserve him nor his unconditional love and support.
Initially, I was against them only coz of the fear of FaRag dynamic getting spoiled by it. ( I'm already done with his never ending bhabhi jaap and so I can't take his biwi jaap if this ship happens 😆And I don't want him to be torned between his anna-biwi. I've had enough of that with Anna-bhabhi)
But now I don't want Kirti to be even his friend😆 I don't hate Kirti or anything. It's just that I'm super possessive about Farhad so anyone who does him wrong automatically gets out of my book be it rambo, amma or even pallu and now kirti😆 Raghav is the only exception for obvious reasons.😳
Sunny on the other hand, reminded us why he was the smartest person on the show (for now). He has never lost his focus, and true to form he had begun investigating Pallavi's past. It was important for him to find out what was driving Mandaar because Sunny is the kind of person who relies on brain over brawn. Knowledge is power and he wields the knowledge of people's weaknesses and motivations against them. In this regard he is very similar to Raghav (who I am hoping will resurface at some point).
@b agree!
Farhad was excited to see Amma's rakhi preparations because he knew how much it would mean to Raghav if Keerti tied a rakhi on his hand this year, a new rakhi, but she was in too much of a rush to wait for her brother to wake up (I'm not surprised).
I was happy to see Farhad smiling and again caring for his Anna because it showed that he hadn't taken Raghav's words and actions to heart the night before. Raat gayi baat gayi, no ego getting in between them. However, like many viewers, I would like to see Raghav make amends for it by apologizing or some other means. Farhad won't demand or expect it but he deserves it. He cannot take Farhad for granted, and Farhad isn't just a regular employee. He has been Raghav's rock all these years and would give his life for him if necessary. I would also like to see them having a proper conversation one day where Raghav expresses how important Farhad is in his life. They both know it but sometimes things need to be verbalized. I will cheer that day. Please CVs. ❤️
Again WORD!
And yes Farhad definitely deserves apologies from the entire Rao fam I'll say!
Raghav for the latest thing
Amma for her maa da ladla times
Kirti for trying to frame him
Pallu for the rambo slap(yes I'm still holding onto it hopelessly
)
