Raghav’s success rate to dig people’s past/truth

I am creating this thread because off late I saw so many posts arguing why Sunny is digging the past and not Raghav since he claims to be born smart…

honestly I agree with you all… Raghav is behaving so out of character and not trying to dig whole truth is so unlike Raghav the don..

but those of you who has followed the show closely like me can vouch for the fact that this is how Raghav is since beginning…

hear me out… points to be considered:

1. earlier in the show, Raghav and pallavi made an enemy out of each other due to circumstances and MUs.

In one scene he asked Farhad to gather info on her .. but somehow he never got to know that Pallavi is a widow and not the real daughter of deshmukhs…

even when he came across siddhesh and pavani during that whole abortion track and they were claiming that pallavi was an orphan but we never left any stone unturned while raising her and she doesn’t have bad values.. then also he never got any suspicion or never even tried to understand who are these people? what relation does Pallavi had with them? why is BWA calling Pallavi orphan? moreover that swami the policemen was well aware of this fact but never told him…

2. He wasn’t able to find out that Kirti is in relationship with Sunny since last 2.5 years .. that means he doesn’t keep tabs on his own sister and mother..

3. in whole Mandar deshmukh accident fiasco, he bought the car which did the accident but didn’t know who was with Kirti in the car? and what was Kirti doing alone at that road at that time? also he never tried to find out which person Kirti hit? even if the doctor told him that he is fine and got discharged… shouldn’t he be concerned in case that person wants to file a complaint for hitting him?

4. when Mandar came back he was going to do background/fact check on the the guy.. but so far we didn’t see him doing any such thing… he accepted the dna report that Mandar brought without question… so as a viewer we have to accept that the back story of Mandar checks out..untill we find something else in upcoming episodes..

5. He even didn’t do a background check for Sunny who is going to be his family member… even when Pallavi pointed this out..

so to conclude so far Raghav’s willingness to dig deeper is not visible in the show…he somehow has chalked out Mandar’s criminal escapades to his obsession with Pallavi… he had an inkling that there is something wrong with the guy but he chose not to act on it…

so sunny picking up on Mandar’s extreme obsession with Pallavi but not Raghav makes absolutely sense with me..

tbh I myself wasn’t thinking that Mandar could have some other motive apart from unhealthy obsession … but through Sunny’s character writers made sure to think in that way…

This is just for my peace of mind.. so I just put it all out there …please ignore if you don’t like this..

positive criticism is always welcome and I am up for healthy discussion/debate..

As per me they involve sunny because he is somewhere connected to pallavi

There was no need to include sunny until he has some role in pallavi life or this is will open way for next track 🤔

They could have use ved not sunny

Right now only intresting thing is sunny investigation 😆

Apart from that they made joke of USP of the show (read Raghvi) for this track 😆

Another thing.

During the Satnarayan episode, Raghav had said that he got a PI and found that Mandar is an atheist. Sirf atheist tak pata kia? Aur kuch janne ka mann nehi kia?

I am really hoping that all these will be taken into consideration soon.

Alright, looking at it from your point of view I guess it makes sense that he hasnt really done much digging to be honest.

But for the time being, Pallavi mentioned Devyani's murder, could Raghav not look into that?

If you look at the way the show is going on, neither Raghav nor Pallavi are doing anything to be honest in finding out about Mandhar. They are literally just twiddling their thumbs. Looking at Raghav even if he told Farhad, hire so and so to look into Devyani's death or Mandhar or whatever, I would be like ok he is doing something but since meeting with Pallavi in the toilet, he has just been sitting, talking to amma, getting upset, and ready to shoot Mandhar and then falling asleep dreaming of pallavi, waking up and Pallavi is there to entertain him for a whole 5 mins, and even then they talk about missing each other, hugs(expected) then amma walks in, closes the door then photoshoot, mandhar massage and voila, time to go....Looking at Pallavi, she feeds Aai, takes care of her (totally fine with that, she is the daughter so not gonna expect anything different), cooks for the whole family, cleans, washes clothes, massages, and just walks here and there like a batakti aatma....with no plan in mind. What has she done to gather evidence? Is she not there to gather evidence? I would have thought that with Mandhar gone, she could have searched his room to find something. Called Raghav and tell him her plan etc.

That is what is bothering me about this whole track. Neither of them has taken a step forward to investigate or gather evidence. Just Sunny seems to be on track.

So, yeah I agree that Raghav hasnt done much digging, seems fair and logical the way you have written it, but right now they are doing nothing. Its been 3 days now since Pallavi has been at D house and I see no progress at all.

Completely agree with this. Raghav only digs deep enough when something affects him directly and seeing the extent to which Mandaar has gone with Ayi he will hopefully start to investigate.

Sunny's motive is different and consistent with his character. He likes to be informed about people so that he can exploit their weaknesses or have some kind of leverage against them. Right now he wants to do the same with Mandaar so he's digging up Pallavi's past, which he wasn't interested in before this.
