@Second para: Oh okay, I must tell you, 😆 me reading Harry Potter books after watching the movies is an exception. Otherwise, I also have the habit of reading the book before watching a movie, and pointing out differences.
However, for HP, for some reason or the other, I never got interested enough to read the books. Until now. And I am loving the story.
Yeah, there are many portions in the book, where I am like 'Oh, this never happened in the movie!', for example, Malfoy and Harry meeting for the first time at Madam Malkins in Diagon alley. Usually when a book lover spots a difference in the movie, it is annoying. At this point, for me, spotting extra scenes in the book is like a treasure trove of surprises.
@First para: I actually felt a bit annoyed on finding some important scenes were removed in the movies. That's why some portion in the movies never made sense. But, practically speaking, it was only movie, and eachvbook is huge. How much will they be able to cover?
