Finally have managed to catch-up the episode and have to come to one conclusion that I had to go back 10 episodes and see what the makers were trying to achieve and show us with the latest twist of tales as the web of lies Maline ha spun take off in an uncontrollable manner. That promise of togetherness was again highlight in the jewels for imlie showed him that she will love him and his family above all else and that memories can be made through anything things to items hold no value but the feelings behind them do. The act of offering everyone else something above her own showed she is secure in her relationship and also she is willing to accept her faith. Why everyone feels he needed to say something to Maline is beyond me we have seen that this approach will never work for she will spin this in her own way. I feel he is on to her as Aps has said in her post but he I willing to let it slide until it doesn’t bring harm to imlie way. For him he is trying to support imlie and the robbery once again showed that in a crowed off noise he only has eyes for imlie and imlie alone.

In the end imlie resolve to support Aditya and walk on her morals or respect. Is her way to protect her family. Mithi had said it well that when it comes to the things imlie loves the most she is willing to go any Mike to protect it. She has shown this when she stood upto Aditya when he denied the relationship in the start that she could life her life with her faith alone or when she accepted that all the jewellery she needed was her wedding chain. Her identity is not defined by him but is all it them as a unit or on there own whereas Maline whole battle is around her Aditya of him and him alone.

Yes I do feel in the long run imlie will be made to leave and with it we will be shown an Aditya that the family never knew existed. But this will be because anu will be made to help Maline get her way as she will lose each battle she throws imlie way. Not sure why people forget just because imlie respect all doesn’t mean she is not wise to the worldly ways for she is as she has not come a state topper out of no where. As her nani says imlie is far more shrewd then she shows.

The battle is all about love and respect and in the end one that will make imlie gain respect but at the cost of losing something along the way.

I have said this many times and I reiterate - this show unfortunately is difficult to watch as a daily, but amazing when you watch it on a binge. Reasons being that the makers have always played a very long game from the start - one of building layers that are nver visible unless you get some episodes into the track.

While the bloopers and dumb acting tend to get annoying sometimes (Malini broke a freaking mirror, yet not 1 person in the T house realised it🤦‍♀️, the entire chori sequence which was unintentionally stupid and had horrible acting🤦‍♀️), the overall storytelling has always been one that takes its time to build. Hence at many points the episodes seem disconnected and make no sense when we go from one day to the next. The build-up sometimes do not make sense till much later when you piece together the clues that the makers have been giving us to finally build the puzzle. Jab puri picture dikhti hai, that is when much of the previous incidents start to make sense.

Like you said, the current track is to show the difference of upbringing which is one of the reasons for Adi's choice. The difference is outlook towards life, between luxury and struggles, between golden spoon and mitti ka spoon. People forget that while gold looks beautiful and is nice to have, you cannot cook in a gold ka bartan. Gold is something that people aspire for, but mitti is what they want at the end of the day to help them get sustenance. Khaana mitti ke bartan main hi sabse paushtik aur healthy rehta hai - kyunki that will always ensure that the food retains all its inherent nutrition.

Similarly while Malini as a bahu is nice to have for Aparna, she forgets that for anyone to be a good bahu, she has to be a wife that her son wants. Like you mentioned, Malini was just a tick mark for Adi, because she became a mirror to show him only what he wanted to see. She refused to hold on to her identity and was willing to mould herself as per what Adi wanted her to be. While that is not wrong, in that process, she could never challenge Adi to look beyond the box he was inside.

On the other hand, Imlie challenged him at every point to see beyond that box. Adi realised that there was more to the world than he knew and there was more to himself than he was aware of. Imlie slowly with her vishwaas in herself and her Sita Maiyya changed Adi's outlook towards life, so much so that the very relationship that at one time was his gale ka phanda, became his wings to fly out of the golden cage which was his relationship with Malini and finally embrace his true self.

Best example of this was during the party, where the editor mentioned that Adi had never once even cracked a joke in 10 years was making fun of his colleagues to protect Imlie's reputation. While that was pure sarcasm, the fact that Adi was prompted to act completely out of character than people around him we used to, shows just how much Imli has changed Adi. Similarly the guy who would never talk on the phone for long before and was likely to not even pick up when family calls, asked his wife to be on the line while he went to the kitchen to eat something she made for him, not letting the connection sever for even a moment.

But that aside, like you mentioned, the purpose of the last few episodes was to lay ground for multiple things. 1st - that for Adi, Imlie is paramount. Nothing anyone says or does will affect his feelings for her. Also, the guy will do anything to ensure that his wife is not hurt by anyone. While not directly, but he is very capable of doing things that will send the required message and remind both the outside world and his own wife that she will always be first priority for him and that no matter how much anyone tries, he will always be with Imlie. 2nd - Adi has understood that he needs to deal with Malini with kid gloves and not confront her in anyway, if he wants to keep his sanity intact and hopefully complete his divorce in the near future. Malini's outburst during the party night has heightened his senses towards Malini's tendency to blame others if she is confronted, so he uses diplomatic taunts and roundabout ways to ensure both his wives are aware of his priorities. 3rd - Mitthi was brought in to show AC and Malini that Imlie can do anything that she puts her mind to. It is also to show that 2 women who have suffered betrayal at the hand of the same man can have different ways of dealing with it not just for themselves, but also their daughter. Mitthi dealt with her betrayal with quiet strength and poise, which allowed her to life her life with her head held high and deal with anything that life throws at her with a smile. He daughter has learnt the same thing and follows it accordingly. AC has always been in the delusions of Dev being in her control because Dev loved her and that what he did with Mitthi was a small transgression and Dev never had any feelings for Mitthi, as she is a village woman - who would choose a village woman over a rich city woman. She assumes that her marriage was happy for the last 20 years and their fights were normal, as long as she can call herself Anu Dev Chaturvedi. The same delusions have been inculcated in Malini as well. Malini has never been able to accept that her Adi chose to leave a rich, beautiful woman like her to be with a girl like Imlie - much younger, not so "beautiful" (according to Malini), poor and from the village. That frustrates her - she cannot see what Adi sees in her to choose Imlie over someone like Malini. She also assumes that her marriage with Adi was happy and that it got ruined only because of Imlie - the same way how AC holds Mitthi responsible for the issues in her marriage with Dev. So Malini is willing to go to any lengths to prove her point - almost to the level of playing with her life, the same way AC also played with Malini's life. For them more than their lives, winning is more important. Holding the husband trophy at the end is more important than respecting the choice of the person they claim to love.

Hence with the promo we understand that this track will finally show Imlie that she is worthy of being Adi's wife and the T house bahu, it will show Adi continuously bolstering Imlie's confidence to fight for her rights and finally show Malini that Imlie is worthy of everything that has been given to her by her Sita Maiyya. After that wat happens will help define how we see all these 3 characters ahead in the story.

Oh, nice one there Nim. Loved how you mentioned that even Imlie's relationship with Malini was gifted to her by SM - so looks like SM only is going to ensure that Imlie's vishwaas will win in the end. While Imlie will fight doe her identity, as mentioned, winning this fight is not going to give her any happiness. Her blinders are off, but I think she will still have hope that she can change Malini to get back that sister relationship, despite whatever she has done.

Such a lovely post. As I was reading it, all flashes of their journey played in my mind. You've worded it so beautifully Raaz Ji! ❤️

It's easy to just paint a picture of assumptions and prejudices on them ignoring the depth which actually has to be seen. They remained silent and veiled the truth (ofc without any ill intentions; it was maybe he felt he was doing right and she moved along) and now that very silence has its cost laid out to pay - the prejudices of society and family and a surface level comprehension of their bond, which is potent enough to challenge them.

People haven't witnessed their entire journey together. They haven't seen how he has changed, maybe he was never the true him infront of his family. It was Imlie who brought out that hidden him and while his relationship with M bound him, his association to Imlie allowed him to soar high.

And the silence they hold has also had a journey. Initially it was of guilt and the burden of truth, it was of helplessness. It then transformed to acceptance of her in him to more than a living reminder of the forced marriage. It then transformed to a dilemma on what he felt towards her, his silence speaking his heart's language (through his eyes) but his brain still stuck on impossibility of it. It was then of complete acceptance that what he felt for her is above everything else, that he loved her, that she was his truth. I have said this many times and I reiterate - this show unfortunately is difficult to watch as a daily, but amazing when you watch it on a binge. Reasons being that the makers have always played a very long game from the start - one of building layers that are nver visible unless you get some episodes into the track.

While the bloopers and dumb acting tend to get annoying sometimes (Malini broke a freaking mirror, yet not 1 person in the T house realised it🤦‍♀️, the entire chori sequence which was unintentionally stupid and had horrible acting🤦‍♀️), the overall storytelling has always been one that takes its time to build. Hence at many points the episodes seem disconnected and make no sense when we go from one day to the next. The build-up sometimes do not make sense till much later when you piece together the clues that the makers have been giving us to finally build the puzzle. Jab puri picture dikhti hai, that is when much of the previous incidents start to make sense.

Like you said, the current track is to show the difference of upbringing which is one of the reasons for Adi's choice. The difference is outlook towards life, between luxury and struggles, between golden spoon and mitti ka spoon. People forget that while gold looks beautiful and is nice to have, you cannot cook in a gold ka bartan. Gold is something that people aspire for, but mitti is what they want at the end of the day to help them get sustenance. Khaana mitti ke bartan main hi sabse paushtik aur healthy rehta hai - kyunki that will always ensure that the food retains all its inherent nutrition.

Similarly while Malini as a bahu is nice to have for Aparna, she forgets that for anyone to be a good bahu, she has to be a wife that her son wants. Like you mentioned, Malini was just a tick mark for Adi, because she became a mirror to show him only what he wanted to see. She refused to hold on to her identity and was willing to mould herself as per what Adi wanted her to be. While that is not wrong, in that process, she could never challenge Adi to look beyond the box he was inside.

On the other hand, Imlie challenged him at every point to see beyond that box. Adi realised that there was more to the world than he knew and there was more to himself than he was aware of. Imlie slowly with her vishwaas in herself and her Sita Maiyya changed Adi's outlook towards life, so much so that the very relationship that at one time was his gale ka phanda, became his wings to fly out of the golden cage which was his relationship with Malini and finally embrace his true self.

Best example of this was during the party, where the editor mentioned that Adi had never once even cracked a joke in 10 years was making fun of his colleagues to protect Imlie's reputation. While that was pure sarcasm, the fact that Adi was prompted to act completely out of character than people around him we used to, shows just how much Imli has changed Adi. Similarly the guy who would never talk on the phone for long before and was likely to not even pick up when family calls, asked his wife to be on the line while he went to the kitchen to eat something she made for him, not letting the connection sever for even a moment.

But that aside, like you mentioned, the purpose of the last few episodes was to lay ground for multiple things. 1st - that for Adi, Imlie is paramount. Nothing anyone says or does will affect his feelings for her. Also, the guy will do anything to ensure that his wife is not hurt by anyone. While not directly, but he is very capable of doing things that will send the required message and remind both the outside world and his own wife that she will always be first priority for him and that no matter how much anyone tries, he will always be with Imlie. 2nd - Adi has understood that he needs to deal with Malini with kid gloves and not confront her in anyway, if he wants to keep his sanity intact and hopefully complete his divorce in the near future. Malini's outburst during the party night has heightened his senses towards Malini's tendency to blame others if she is confronted, so he uses diplomatic taunts and roundabout ways to ensure both his wives are aware of his priorities. 3rd - Mitthi was brought in to show AC and Malini that Imlie can do anything that she puts her mind to. It is also to show that 2 women who have suffered betrayal at the hand of the same man can have different ways of dealing with it not just for themselves, but also their daughter. Mitthi dealt with her betrayal with quiet strength and poise, which allowed her to life her life with her head held high and deal with anything that life throws at her with a smile. He daughter has learnt the same thing and follows it accordingly. AC has always been in the delusions of Dev being in her control because Dev loved her and that what he did with Mitthi was a small transgression and Dev never had any feelings for Mitthi, as she is a village woman - who would choose a village woman over a rich city woman. She assumes that her marriage was happy for the last 20 years and their fights were normal, as long as she can call herself Anu Dev Chaturvedi. The same delusions have been inculcated in Malini as well. Malini has never been able to accept that her Adi chose to leave a rich, beautiful woman like her to be with a girl like Imlie - much younger, not so "beautiful" (according to Malini), poor and from the village. That frustrates her - she cannot see what Adi sees in her to choose Imlie over someone like Malini. She also assumes that her marriage with Adi was happy and that it got ruined only because of Imlie - the same way how AC holds Mitthi responsible for the issues in her marriage with Dev. So Malini is willing to go to any lengths to prove her point - almost to the level of playing with her life, the same way AC also played with Malini's life. For them more than their lives, winning is more important. Holding the husband trophy at the end is more important than respecting the choice of the person they claim to love.

Hence with the promo we understand that this track will finally show Imlie that she is worthy of being Adi's wife and the T house bahu, it will show Adi continuously bolstering Imlie's confidence to fight for her rights and finally show Malini that Imlie is worthy of everything that has been given to her by her Sita Maiyya. After that wat happens will help define how we see all these 3 characters ahead in the story.

This has been so aptly out and I am just catching up with the thread and this view point is just so perfect 🤗 One of the fact I love and has been highlight is the clear difference and direction of what one values in the lay of the land. Like it said by yourself and others so many times we whom live, breath and prosper from the very soil is also the one where are ultimate end is. We are at the end also part of the same fragment. We grown from within through the nature that we breath and choices we make for once self. So proving that they never really tried to seek out whom she really was. The crack in the mirror 🪞 as you said allowed him to trek a path of self discovery and one that was both rewarding to his soul and fruitful. He was allowed to walk and learn that it was okay to be different. He was finally able to see that what he felt was okay to be questioned and that maybe he was normal after all. The prejudice that imlie has grown up with and so her mother has been so aptly shown in the track. None of the woman have been able to see Mithi pain and focus on the fact that she could have been a victim. The very sindoor they are asking for imlie to leave behind for themselves is the one that she has earned on her own accordance. They have had to live with the negative and at each turn prove it to be not so till it was turned into a positive. Why did Maline believe she had the right to question Mithi this same statement can be applied to imlie were she should be the one question the actions of her father. But has he been put through the fire of hell no he is allowed to walk away unscathed and unquestionably by anyone. Mithi allowed her self to listen to the taunts and deprive her self of happiness because she thought that would be deceitful to the man she claimed to love. She walked through fire everyone to hold on to his honour by letting hers slip. The very trust she showed him was never returned. So when imlie has been able to gain hers why should she walk away because others don’t like it. That’s not there decision to make.

I have to agree with you that although moulding yourself to your lovers likening is not a bad choice to make one should not lose perspective of what they hold dear to themselves. They should not lose there own essence of what makes them tick and why the person choices to grown with them and alongside them in the good, bad and the ugly. This is why while she was counting the stars she lost her moon to the sun. For imlie warmth drew him in as she was a quench to his thirsty soul. As unattractive as his demons may have been to him to imie they were just his longing for clarity and voice of faith or courage to understand. A silent hand asking for someone to listen and say it’s okay to be different. That’s why when the editor said as you aptly put at the party you have changed the man we know we could feel Aditya pride shine in his eyes for her because he found his home in her for he knew if he ever fell she would be right by him to hold his hand.

In contrast Maline although managed to knot the tie, she failed to hold on to his love for he never wanted to be bound. He may like to have a routine but that doesn’t mean he is not open to change. No matter how many times she spins her lies or tries to show why she should matter it won’t make a dent in Aditya because he know knows that when you are loved by someone they will never ask you to be the lesser person of yourself but the will actually encourage you to be more of whom you really are.

He has seen this in imlie at each stage for his family has hurt imlie so much yet she is willing to grown and mould herself towards someone they can be proud of but not at the risk of losing herself. She loves and respects them but at the same time doesn’t want to want her past reflect her present. She had shown him that although dev was the person whom wronged her and her mother she is willing to form a bond with Maline knowing full well that she may not see her the way she does. The believe that she holds that any relationship can be fixed shows her nature to nurture. That why she is so confident even when she feel so love she loves herself enough to comeback fighting.

I would definitely say the episodes are disconnected but there is so much focus on the material actions then the one that mattered for example the fact that he wanted imlie to accept his gift for he knew she would never take anything of his without him making her. That was proven when there was no love during the Valentine’s Day dress drama we’re imlie had to reassure him that although his act was one of concern others would not deem it so. Today that very fact was highlighted because his whole family assumed that he had called the police when in fact he had called the jewellers to show her how much she did matter. For a careless person will pay the price.

Maline will learn that while she has everyone trust today her act to get her trophy will cost her to lose all she hold dear. For she won’t be able to be seen in the same light. To earn once trust can take years but once shattered it can never be regained.

Aditya will have to learn that silence can only get you so far sometimes one needs to speak to be heard. I feel he will realise that while he has held his believe in imlie he has not listened to her concern and this may be gap he will have to fill when she leaves him behind.

As for imlie she will have to learn that not all relationships can be saved and not everyone is willing to be trusted or simply cannot understand why you love them then way you do. There will always be a divide and she will have to learn that while she may gain respect of some she won’t be able to hold it together for all of them.

For so far the key that has given imlie and Aditya the upper hand is there communication and that is because of there mutual understanding until that cannot be broken no matter what anyone does or say they will always find there way home to laughter. And this has been proven through the multiple chops that didi has received so far.😆

Thanks Nim 🤗 I believe she will retain her essence I feel throughout she has always been true to her self for we have always seen her fight for her family over her own concerns but most of all she had protected Aditya when he was a just another person to her. She has always held his honour and her own in her hand by walking on her faith. The fact that she is willing to walk through her demons to achieve this shown her strength.

She has never demanded and that what Maline has forgotten for imlie was the one that let Aditya marry Maline as she offered her sindoor to her, she let her own that identity and was willing to walk away from it with pride. By focusing on her own goals and dreams and live with a marriage were there would never be any love attached in another land only to watch in form afar.

It was Aditya that couldn’t handle the lose. He seeks her and fought to have her accept him, then and what they can be. Yes along the way we have to swallow the bitter pills of the didi love and the blinders she put this is because imlie still believed Maline can be saved.

Now that she may be willing to fight I hope Maline will see what force she has to reckon through for a battle is never won until both players are playing. This will ago it to happen and Maline will learn that two people can play the game but what I worry off is in all this whom will Aditya trust🤔

It's easy to just paint a picture of assumptions and prejudices on them ignoring the depth which actually has to be seen. They remained silent and veiled the truth (ofc without any ill intentions; it was maybe he felt he was doing right and she moved along) and now that very silence has its cost laid out to pay - the prejudices of society and family and a surface level comprehension of their bond, which is potent enough to challenge them.

People haven't witnessed their entire journey together. They haven't seen how he has changed, maybe he was never the true him infront of his family. It was Imlie who brought out that hidden him and while his relationship with M bound him, his association to Imlie allowed him to soar high.

And the silence they hold has also had a journey. Initially it was of guilt and the burden of truth, it was of helplessness. It then transformed to acceptance of her in him to more than a living reminder of the forced marriage. It then transformed to a dilemma on what he felt towards her, his silence speaking his heart's language (through his eyes) but his brain still stuck on impossibility of it. Love everything you have said her and more Ps143🤗 it’s like you said there silence is what speaks through all the challenges they are facing today. Yes I felt as we watch the episode we fell into the trap of judging the act at face value and this said it is why I had to go back a few episodes and see what there were trying to show. As the editing is quite bad these days one forgets what faith has put these two through. As Nim said faith has given imie so much and that very faith has allowed Maline to claim what she belief is hers but as we all know that is not the case.

This so why although people hail kunal as a hero I felt he was not one for Aditya stood up to Maline mother when he knew she only wanted ill for imlie and he didn’t know what she meant to him. He has always questioned his own actions and that of others just because he is open with his flaws doesn’t mean he doesn’t regret them. If kunal wanted as he claimed to anu he would have gone to imlie and helped her out but in the end he stuck in Maline corner and nor did he say something to Aditya of this meeting. A lot of people can make bold claims but to own one truth is not easy.

This time Aditya has done both for he is trying to trust imlie judgement and walk with her by letting her have Maline in her life for the man we knew from the past would not hesitate to end these ties. It his need to respect imlie core value of family that holds him back I feel. For his eyes speak volumes when he know address Maline. And also still shows his fear of losing her as well. One could see the pride when imlie addressed him as her husband to the family as she chose the jewels and told him how she was proud of him knowing her wishes so well. That’s all he has ever wanted from her to be with him and not forget what they are for each other.

just because he doesn’t say all of what he thinks of her doesn’t mean he has not shown her either. For each of the times his hand has stretched toward imlie has been his resolve to show Maline he had moved on.

Love is not only about the physical act it is about the emotional one for the more one can express themselves the more they feel at home and at peace. Most of all they feel secure in the relationship for they are willing to give all of themselves without expecting anything in return.

Just because imlie has said it to him several times that she is okay he has seen that she is not. One could see this when Maline sat in the car or when the family failed to appreciate her achievement in the competition.

As for how this will end I feel it with climax with an nde where imlie will leave the family not out of choice but because she has too. This has to move forward to show us why Aditya feels imlie matters to him over Maline and his family has to see this too as has she. This is where the trust will be tested for sure I feel.

Maline will win in the short term but in the long run imie will return home with all honour.
