yea it’s definitely a difficult transition period - I remember being miserable for a good half of my freshman year because I missed my family so much and my roommate was a compete whack case
some of my freshman this year are from the coasts and my heart goes to them - it’s a long way from home 😒
all the parents are usually so shocked when they learn it’s not a paid but rather volunteer position 🤣 one of the families I moved in asked me why on earth would I ever do this to myself 🤪🤣
how was your trip? good to have you back 🤗
Really, I wonder you have put yourself through this but heard it’s part of being a Senior😆 they look out for the freshmen.
My rule, my son is not applying anywhere in West coast. We live in the East, the max he can go to is midwest. Even mountain states are off list.
Trip was good, got few things done for Mom that was pending after Dad’s death (missed him so much), first time going to India without him not receiving me at the airport. But Mom is holding up herself well, she has learned so much in the last year, the most surprising thing was the way she picked up the way to use a smart phone and has become securely independent but needs constant reassurance which she will get from me always.
