See the point of this is to show that Imlie is more than what people assume her to be - DD, Aparna, Radha and even AC - all want to pull her down using this "gawar" tag coz she is from a village - so this entire premise is to show that again that being from a village does not make one gawar and that Imlie is very capable of being Imlie's wife - this looks more like a flip from one of the sr T's more than anything else. My guess - Imlie will prove herself to be supirior and that will push Malini to either do something drastic or emotionally blackmail Imlie that she still loves Adi, which may lead to their separation - if they're still planning to go in that direction.

The other possibility will be Imlie winning over all the Sr T's including Aparna and Malini feeling dejected and leaving - hence keeping the scope for her to come back and wreck havoc with her unresolved feelings in the future.

Dono main se ek ka hone ke chances lag rahe hai - now we need to see how it pans out.

Is it me or was the whole point of the promo stupid? Matlab what is Malini trying to play here - that Imlie is not good enough coz she is from gaon? Is that what these guys are going to address next week? So not that Malini still has feelings for Adi or that she feels that her relationship has more weightage as she has apparently been in a relationship with Adi for longer. Or even that Adi fell in love with Imlie with Malini still in his life, when he never looked at anyone else in the 7 yrs he was dating Malini.

All they will address is how just Imlie being from a village does not mean she cannot be a brilliant bahu as well🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

That wasn't what I got from the promo. what i got was that Malini is trying to shake Imlie's confidence by saying she is not capable of handling anything at all and is failing.

One of her main problems have always been, not that Adi fell in love, but he fell in love with someone like Imlie. she called it out as Naukrani during sindoor kaand and called it "I don't believe this .. Imlie? Imlie?" during the time that Adi confessed. and also during her monologue one of the many, she says"... main sabko kya bolun ki aditya ne mujhe Imlie ke liye chod diya "

while Malini is obsessed with Aditya, I think she is also projecting her insecurities of not wanting to be in a failed relationship along with the fact that she considers herself to be better than Imlie. her mom and Aparna have done nothing but feed into this superiority feeling.

She is now trying to hit at Imlies confidence and aiming for her insecurities which Malini was aware about. She doesn't not understand that things have changed drastically for Imlie and that Imlie is now much more confident of both herself and her relationship with Aditya. which is why Imlies response of "now you will see what Imlie Aditya kumar Tripathi is capable of"

I also see this as a make or break fight. for Malini and Imlie's relationship as well as Imlie's relationship with the Ts.

she and Aditya have both been a couple for so long that some of the characteristics have rubbed off of each other...

Adi is sly. imlie wasn't.

Imlie is straight and honest. Adi is honest and straight when it suits him. he keeps things hidden when he feels its better to do so.

Both are brave.

Adi doesnt like confrontation if it doesnt suit his purpose

imlie wants things cleared for lok kalyan.

this week will be an interesting watch hence.

and Adi will also be heavily involved.

Abhita, thanks again for putting it in a different perspective. Maybe I was just getting bugged at the "gawar" aspect being focused on instead of addressing Malini's feelings - I was hoping the makers would atleast try to show Adi putting forward his point that his feelings for Imlie were never connected to Malini, and them showing that even if Imlie was never in the picture, Adi and Malini would not have worked out. Otherwise I wanted Imlie to know that all this is being done by Malini because she still has feelings for Adi and tackling that issue head on as Adi's wife - hence my disappointment.

But I agree with you - maybe this face off will help Imlie finally accept that she is good enough - not just because Adi says so, but also because she deserves everything that her Sita Maiyya has given to her. Hopefully the makers show this properly and close the open ended loops to push the story ahead.

Thank you Aps for sharing your perspective. I totally get your point and you're right.

Aditya had already told Imlie after the sindoor kaand that Malini and him would've split up eventually because of their incompatibility, even if Imlie hadn't been on the scene. it is time for him to make this clear to Malini as well.

in my opinion, and going by my reading of the past some episodes (and I may be totally off😁) , both Imlie and Aditya have been observing Malini and all that she's been saying and doing and forming their own opinions about it. they haven't discussed everything yet, because of couple of reasons.

Imlie because she's still got that thing about Malini being her sister.

Aditya still thinking about Imlie to an extent and to dinner extent the fact that he doesn't want to jeopardize the divorce proceedings.

I also noticed some covert gestures exchanged by the Miya biwi this past week. after the party fiasco Adi stopping Imlie from saying anything to Malini, during the car scene the slight headshake after which Imlie went to sit in the backseat... I think they're gonna be a tag team against whatever didi has to dish out.

For me this promo leads to two conclusions .First one is -- dd will create misunderstanding between Adilie and Aadi will be distanced from Imlie . Then dd will tell Imlie that neither you can take care of Aadi nor the family and Imlie will try her best . I think dd will defeat her somewhat ( with her kala kartut)and Imlie will leave the house .Aaditya will be dejected and will pine for Imlie .Seeing Aadi's condition ( he can never love dd with or without Imlie ),dd will bring back Imlie and become mahaan .Second one is dd will try hard and first but will never break Aadile as he loves only Imlie .She will leave T house heartbroken and Anu will try to take revenge on Imlie .Dd will change her mind and will try to save Imlie and dd become mahaan.

Dd will try to be mahaan in both situation.
