Does anyone remember Escape From Taliban (2003) with Manisha Koirala?

It is so weird how the Taliban is gaining power again and it reminds me of that 2003 film with Manisha. I saw it and remember how sad it was. Does anyone like the movie? 😭

I remember that movie and how frustrated I was for her character while watching it

I think I remember reading somewhere that the woman on whom this movie was based on later returned to Afghanistan and was then murdered by Taliban brutally.

Edit: ok just googled. She had went back for her adopted daughter. 💔

There was also an episode on The Great Escape based on this. Its an epic channel show.
