One of my favourite episodes from the series.

1.First of all, love how old episodes used to get the detailing correct. Aastha giving nikki puttar money and phone (very practical, often missed)

2. Aastha maam says don't meet anyone except shaan (destiny says...wait a minute let's have fun!!).

3. Love the entire sequence of the train and the BG music. Both are anxious and with minds not at ease. Both are thinking of their mothers and hurting inside. The parallels were beautiful. Anokhi taking off chuda felt like taking off chains holding her.

4. Bhalla circus running to find her. Did not feel bad at all for them but A+ for effort. But I honestly felt the actor playing Rami Bhalla over acted a bit? Acting seemed off to me today.

5. Shaurya reflected on Aastha's words. What does it mean? So we're the seeds of doubts sowed here? Where he actually though that there was more to her story?

6. The almost hit and miss of shakhi again. The annoying hair which later becomes beautiful. The watch. Shaurya leaves, but the watch always stays.I like the touch of serendipity again But what does a watch signify? Any inputs? That part has me confused.

Bold… I really appreciated this scene when I watched it the first time.. so practical that they have shown that she gives her old phone .., or else in other serials audience are left to wonder where does the poor homeless FL get it from?

Underline.. I simple love this sequence… watched it tens of times.. how beautifully their pain, dilemma and hope have been portrayed through songs without any dialogues.

Italics… Shaurya definitely was disturbed and it got him thinking. But every time he gets thinking and presents it in front of BM she manipulates him in such a way that he gets back to square one in his thinking. I sincerely wished and hoped to see Shaurya dig into the truth by talking it out with his dad or gayatri chachi.. definitely not the first time but May be after a couple of incidents at least as they have to drag the story.

Even I felt that the actor playing mr Bhalla overacted

Anokhi and Shaurya are on a train to Chandigarh.......they're on the same raaste and manzil(remember Ahir?).

Anokhi is such a brave soul, leaving behind everything so familiar for a dream. Aastha equipped her with 5000 rupees and a phone. Anokhi looking so lovingly at Kapurthala was heartbreaking. 😭

The entire train sequence was fabulous. The song and the side by side scenes of ShaKhi. They were both tormented by the past, replaying their mothers' words. Anokhi aesthetically spilling tears while throwing out her wedding chooda.

Khali khali aankhon se sapne bunta ja
Mann apne ki karle tu sabki sunta ja
Tooti tooti saanson se ladta ja badta ja
Tukda tukda kar karke kismat chunta ja

ShaKhi interaction in the dark! "Pagal ho gayi kya" "Mein suicide wali dikhi hoon" Pepper spray and watch grab with Shaurya calling her pindu again. It was their kismet connection!

Side notes:

~ I missed this tight storytelling and thoughtful scenes in the latter half of the show. Since Goa, episodes felt rushed because they were trying to have a bank.

~Babli and Rama being strong for each other was so nice to see.

~The phone that Aastha gave Anokhi...is that the same she had throughout the show?

~ Shaurya and Anokhi's hair ki kahani also has started!

Precap: Anokhi reaches Chandigarh and SIAC!

What to say about aastha, she is the mother that shaurya needed and her motherly instinct ensured that anokhi has the basic money and phone to tie her over the initial days in Chandigar. She must be feeling like she herself is stepping back in the Sabherwal life through Anokhi's steps.

Shaurya is really Mr high and Mighty sometimes, the way he looked down the chaiwala and called Anokhi Pindu in the train. By the way what does Pindu mean?

When both were reminiscing about their pain we saw Anokhi having a mother lovingly feeding her whilst Shaurya having a mother telling him he may have been stolen from his mother. On one side we have Anokhi who knows what is mother's love and on the other side Shaurya pining for the love of his mother. The first grain of doubt would have been sowed, but Shaurya being stubborn and thoroughly brainwashed by BM would ignore what his instinct was telling him.

The second time Shakhi met, again Anokhi left her mark on Shaurya by blinding him, but this time Shaurya also left a memento with her. His watch!! We all know how much Shaurya/KV likes watches! So separating himself from his watch must be meaningful...

that song in the train....the lyrics...Just muahhhh

@bold: It harkens back to Shaan's words that Aastha got to be someone's mother at least. And when you send your child into the lion's den, I'm sure a part of her wanted to talk Anokhi out of it. And Aastha did initially try to convince Anokhi to look at another college. But her fate was SIAC and Shaurya!!

@underline: the lyrics are so apt! The person who choose saakk songs is a genius at their job.

BTW, Pind means village in Punjabi so a pindu would be a villager. It has the negative connotation of someone who is not as educated and not as modern.

That's the beauty of SAAKK, Shaurya is helping Anokhi to run to him by giving her a lift in the boot of his car and stopping her from committing suicide without realising it.

SAAKK editors love to troll by cutting together scenes that don't go chronologically. By the end you learn to not trust a single precap!

One of my favourite episodes from the series.

1.First of all, love how old episodes used to get the detailing correct. Aastha giving nikki puttar money and phone (very practical, often missed)

Yes, novody thinks of these essential details when watching a bollywood movie...

I was just writing how I miss the thoughtful storytelling. SAAKK lost that towards the latter half when they were rushing through.

2. Aastha maam says don't meet anyone except shaan (destiny says...wait a minute let's have fun!!).

Anokhi is doing Aastha's first step back in Sabherwal clan, of course Shaan would be the destination.

Anokhi still ran into Shaurya first!! Mata rani knows all and sees all and does all!

3. Love the entire sequence of the train and the BG music. Both are anxious and with minds not at ease. Both are thinking of their mothers and hurting inside. The parallels were beautiful. Anokhi taking off chuda felt like taking off chains holding her.

Yes, the shackles of her father were coming off finally and she was in that train she has always been dreaming of.

I complain about the practical ways to address scenes but I also understand the need in fiction for drama. Instead of Anokhi just changing her clothes/jewelry at home. She chose to take her shaadi clothes and jewelry off at Aastha because it needs to be discovered by her family. She took her chooda off in the train because the staff needed to find it on the tracks.

4. Bhalla circus running to find her. Did not feel bad at all for them but A+ for effort. But I honestly felt the actor playing Rami Bhalla over acted a bit? Acting seemed off to me today.

Rami Bhallah is still thinking about his honor. did it ever occur she may have died by jumping off the train.

I like his acting...smiley4

Ramesh Bhalla has put his izzat in his daughters while taking every opportunity to denigrate them and treat them like property, then has the audacity to wonder why they run way or disobey.

5. Shaurya reflected on Aastha's words. What does it mean? So we're the seeds of doubts sowed here? Where he actually though that there was more to her story?

He may have started ruminating on this but as soon as Devi comes in contact with him and restarts her brainwashing, Shaurya is back to square one.

Aastha at least planted the first seed. Anokhi will help water it and grow it, while Devi will do her level best to squash it all.

6. The almost hit and miss of shakhi again. The annoying hair which later becomes beautiful.

He will later hold it and inhale it

I love the Shaurya and Anokhi's hair interactions!! The parallel scenes we will be get is amazing.

The watch. Shaurya leaves, but the watch always stays.I like the touch of serendipity again But what does a watch signify? Any inputs? That part has me confused.

Must be saying time is changing hands,

Now someone can further develop

I think of it only as a plot device for now. I'm sure there is some deep meaning with time. But I'm treating this as one more connection between the two. The first fight where he unwillingly loses the watch. And later after their fight/breakup, he willingly leaves it behind.
