Star plus once upon a time had a beautiful balance of urban and rural shows but now they had completely became rural centric. Only Anupama, ZMGA & Mehendi are the exceptions.

Rural channel means a channel that focusses on village and small town audience.

Urban channel means a channel that focusses on city audience.

StarPlus, Colors, Zee Tv are these channels which are namesake urban but they are partial and cater only rural audience. They are neither urban centric nor they are even balanced.

YRKKH is not at all urban dear. Did you see their cinematography. Compare this cinematography with kaira period cinematography and there you will see the difference.

YHC too some extent yes it is urban but its setups are so cheap that it despite being urban gives rural vibes. Like ekta turns her show sets into hotels, shopping malls, cafes, bars. Chindi giri ki bhi ek hadh hoti hai. 🤢

Sab TV is urban to great extent- TMKOC, WKD3, Jijaji2, TYHM, Hero, ZDMN. Kaatelal is semi-urban. Sony too is urban to some extent.

Yes ofcourse Sony and Sab both are urban. Sab is more urban as it has more fiction shows compared to Sony.
