balikavadhu was more of social awareness because unfortunatly that is still an issue in intrim parts of many states and there is factor that even though they are married they dont get to live as married couple until they come of age. Balikavadhu in the beggining was about spreading awareness a lot. Thats what they advertised on and made the show on. Many other shows on colors as well like lado and utaran and all

In that show on sony the issue: age difference much too drastic and it was borderline incestuous as well at least thats what i read in newspaper articles and it was more like promoting that kind of thinking not awareness hence the issue

My mom used to watch it so i watched a few episodes when inwould be with her in the beginning. Thats why i remember. It was trying to portray that what kind of issues would arise if u follow child marriage and why it is mot wise thing to do. At least in the beginning thats what was happening. God knows what happened in later day 😆
