Actually that’s exactly what I was thinking when sofna said they were sympathising as another woman. It could be that she herself was divorced and she had to face issues as a woman.

But she is a person with forward thoughts. Didn’t she even ask them to let Sai go when they were asking questions on PD lunch day? She should try to understand Samrat. But it would be right for her to try to find out the story from both the parties.
