Chapter -20-Sacrifice

Riddhima was about to reach the examination hall for the exam , Suddenly she felt like her head was spinning .

She held her head , Then she felt nauseous and started puking .

As she was puking she placed her on the stomach breathing heavily .

As she placed her hand on her belly it started increasing in size and huge baby bump formed on her stomach .

She anyhow with a struggle holding her huge baby bump reached till the room .

A last warning bell rung to her ears and The Invigilator started distributing the question paper .

Riddhima tried to take a step to her but her stomach started paining and she cried out loudly .

A lady in uniform and College attender held Riddhima .

College Attender : You need to go home , You cannot write the exam .

Riddhima sweating and panicking shouting in pain .

Riddhima : I need to write the exam , I worked hard .

I need to graduate .

Riddhima was sweating profusely and was repeating the same words in her sleep in the room .

Riddhima was shivering in her sleep with her sobbing voice, She disturbs Vansh's sleep .

Vansh wakes up listening to her sobs in Shock .

Vansh observes Riddhima struggling and understands she was having a nightmare .

He immediately wakes her up .

Riddhima wakes up in a jerk and starts remembering her nightmare as she sweats and panics .

Vansh holds her shoulder .

Vansh : Riddhima ?

He then holds her face concerned .

Vansh : Riddhu , What happen ?

Riddhima wipes her Sweat from forehead .

Riddhima : I Got scared .

I thought , I will be not able to give my exams .

All my hard work for the semester will be ruined .

Vansh after listening to her concerns carefully takes a long sigh and he gently takes her into his embrace .

Vansh : I am there , Don't be scared .

You will write you exams and we will have this child too .

Let's just do this together .

You still have two years of education to complete and We can do this together .

Trust me , I will sort everything out .

Riddhima calms down trusting Vansh .

The next day , It was the exam day .

Riddhima went to get ready but she started Puking badly , She felt so weak .

Vansh asked her to sleep for a bit , Riddhima started panicking but Vansh made calm showing her the time , As she had more two hours she slept .

While she was sleeping , Vansh got everything ready for her exam .

All her important and essentials for exam and the day were neatly arranged .

Riddhima woke up and drank some juice , She didn't feel nauseous thankfully and she went to Bathroom and bathed herself quickly .

They both Immediately left for the college .

The days passed by as the exams were written by Riddhima diligently unaffected by the pregnancy with Vansh's care .

It was the last exam and Riddhima was preparing for the exam in her room , She has vomited for three times and She still feels Nauseous .

Riddhima Still with all the courage and strength tried to prepare for the exam .

While the baby for busy troubling her making nauseous .

Suddenly Riddhima started chatting with the baby .

Riddhima : ( Annoyed ) Stop it baby , Amma is trying to study .

Riddhima poniting her pencil towards the stomach .

Riddhima : You know I am not doing this just for myself .

I am doing this for you too , Don't you want your mother to be educated and be independent ?

So , Let me Study .

After five minutes , she smells some fragrance and starts feeling better .

Riddhima starts studying for her last exam with Vansh .

Vansh prepares her for the exam and makes her study .

Riddhima feels like pushing him out of the room , As he keeps scolding her while making her study .

Still she resists the irritation and concentrates on studying .

After two days finally her exams finish without any problem .

Riddhima was sitting with vansh as he was reading the news paper early in the morning .

Riddhima distrubs him by pulling his cheeks Playfully .

Vansh :( Annoyed ) Riddhima , Let me read .

Riddhima throws the news paper aside .

Riddhima :( Annoyed ) No .

Vansh : What ?

Riddhima : You need to just look at me .

That's it .

No news paper .

Vansh : Okay ?

Vansh Looks at her lovingly .

Riddhima smiles at him and settles herself on his lap .

Riddhima : You know what vansh .

I have sorted out everything .

This the best time to be pregnant .

I was scared but Now this pregnancy is a solution for all my future hurdles .

Riddhima and Vansh start speaking different things as time passes quickly to lunch time .

As Riddhima notices the clock , She remembers something .

Riddhima :( Excitedly ) Vansh My food .

Vansh : Oh , What is your menu today ?

Riddhima : Urulai kilangu masala , Sambar rice and Appalam .

Riddhima excitedly goes to the lunch table .

She looks into the dishes opening the lids .

She notices the appalam and feels disappointed as it was papad and not the authentic Appalam .

Riddhima feels like betrayed and Vansh starts scolding the staff .

After a while Vansh convinces her to eat and she doesn't .

He feeds her the food and she quietly eats the food .

As Vansh was feeding her the food , Riddhima feels loved .

Riddhima :( In mind ) I can always trust you .

You would always scold me ever since childhood but You were always there for me whenever I need you .

Riddhima looks at him lovingly .

Riddhima : I love you .

Vansh responds with a smile and pulls her cheek .

Vansh : I love you too .

After sometime , There were some people in the hall .

All the family members were gathered .

Vansh was speaking with the elderly people , They were from a Really good business family.

Riddhima comes to them and greets them as Vansh introduces her .

Vansh : Now , It's settled .

Next week , We will gather for the engagement .

Elderly Women : Yes , We will fix the engagement next week .

Shaurya is coming from Europe business meet in two days .

Ishani and shaurya can even meet once .

Vansh :( smiles ) Yeah sure .

As the elderly people leave after the talk , Ishani listens to them and stays shocked rooted to her ground .

Ishani after a while aprroaches Vansh .

Ishani :( teary eyed ) Vansh bhai , I cannot marry anyone and You did'nt even ask me before getting me married .

Vansh : Why should I ask ?

I know what I am doing is perfect .

Ishani :( shouts ) No , bhai .

You cannot force your decision on me .
