This was another wonderful thread even if the episode was needed to move the story forward it was slow in terms of the whole Maline and Mithi reveal. To be honest I fizzled out so quick that one could wonder if it even happened. The nature to rattle on about the whole seven year relationship it validation ha scone for a stale mate that one is left wondering are the legal issue actually going to be addressed. We have walked through the social once but the once that matter have been trashed in the bin it feels. 🤔

the whole owning of the truth the act of love and acceptance is a nice watch but even then one is left wondering that with Maline on going depression why are they not showing Aditya question her appointment or councilling sessions. It is well known fact that such victims are asked to attend these and regularly check in for the mental and physical well-being. This has been let down and the whole focus is on the ongoing 🏆 which is Aditya. I love how at all points imlie is made to answer and question both her judgement and actions but Maline has not answerable to any. I even felt Mithi resolve fall flat somewhat at this stage.

Everyone like to show Maline as the victim but through this one can clearly see that imlie is the target both emotionally and mentally because she had to deal with all the past abuse of abandonment and with it the social stigma. The fact that Aditya either was ignore her other relationship by answering her worries with his love either was trying to show his support or hide his own insecurities when it comes to his relationships. I feel the makers can either address these issue with a conversation with him or imlie or him and Rupi whom has been through this herself. I just feel this whole angle of Maline alone is somewhat

one thing was clear from the room conversation that a long term relationship like there’s is only going the last if they are able to deal with the peaks of there arguments. This will prove to all and Maline as well that there marriage is strong and shall survive. The simple fact that she believed Aditya calling imlie immature makes there marriage rocky is 🤣 because it shows that she never understand what he is saying. One could see he is tired with all the emotional turmoil for someone like him whom likes it to be black or white his truth unfortunately has become multicoloured because he refuses to draw a line between all his bonds and relationships. Neither does imlie. In this track they will have to decide what ultimately matters and with that a someone will be left behind either lost, hurt or alone. How they pick up the pieces is the choices and journey they have to life with individually.

As a short term win in a relationship is not a perfect example of a lasting one for the foundation has to be open to honest communication and today that was once again proven when Maline spun her web of lies. It was nice to see that Aditya knew imlie could never do what was being said but at the same time it all shows that the love he held with Maline was one of passing time for he knew when to let go before the hurting became too much to bare. Unfortunately because Maline is in denial she can not see any of the signs that are in front of her and her very desire of a happily ever after will again mean that imie will be the one to have to walk away because from the precap one can see imlie can stand it all but not at the cost of her own well being that has always been her top most importance and we have had a glimpse of that when she wanted to study and chase her dream.

I felt today’s episode once again showed her faith in them and herself by taking the courage to ask the right questions but most of all it maybe me but I could see soul connection which is neither based upon calendars or time simple on the foundation of wanting to be with another. Aditya reluctance to reassure imlie abandonment issues will bit him in the future when imlie has left because this will be the reason she walks because all the relationships that have mattered to her have let her down before they have even become whole. May that be one of her birth father, sister or know her husband. Her pain as he put it is childish in the grand matter of the other woman in his life.

So it’s enough of him being a philosopher and it more about him becoming practical for so far it seems to me that imlie has been making all the difficult decisions for them. Even though he has claimed he wants to own them with her. His responsibility did not end at the truth reveal it has just started. Wish the makers would give us a glimpse of that Aditya again how magical that would be

Thanks raaz - always love to read your takes on the episodes, as they are the most different.

I love that yours and my views on seem to match almost to a T. Adi being a straight arrow, refuses to see beyond the veneers put forth by his "best friend" as looking beyond will require him to not just evaluate what he has knows for 7+ years, but also points out that he was a poor judge of character in regards to some people (which he is and has been proved in regard to his own parents, yet the guy refuses to learn). This entire situation will blow up in his face - which will be the trigger that will make him see the light. People are forgetting that Adi tends to display these ostrich type tendencies before every situation that was a turning point in Adi & Imlie's relationship. Be it before the gunshot incident (the guy was dooing his moon jaap & legit called Imlie besharam for wanting to spend the night with him), before he realized he loved Imlie (he was happily managing 2 wives under the same roof and asked Imlie to find someone else for herself), revealing the truth to Malini & being buried alive (kept pushing the reveal with the reason that Imlie was not ready) and finally revealing the truth to his family (he assumed that his family will love the fact that Imlie is their bahu). Each of these time he has exhibited this behavior and each of these times it was Imlie who correctly knew the outcome of those situations and even called Adi out on his ostrich tendencies.

Hence I agree with you that Adi's behavior is the only thing that will push Imlie away from him and jolt him from his slumber. This philosophical and idealist tendencies when challenged, will be the reason for the separation and finally realization that Adi needs to do more than just announce to the world that Imlie is his wife. He would need to finally create boundaries and a stable environment to ensure that him and his wife can actually live that relation rather than just exist with it as a part of their lives.

I hope he does finallly wake up and smell the coffee for the boundaries are much needed even if he wishes to deny them for now. A friendship need to be taken as just that and nothing else for know it just seems he is hiding behind it as an excuse of wishing to be right when he knows that is not the case.

I am just happy to read that we have similar views for me he has become to philosophical when we know he has been more of the proactive type by believing in results. So why give Maline a pass or is it that he is know worried this could lead to another attack on her life or even risk the once of his own. We need to learn more of what he feels and sadly this is lacking in the track because the feel Maline is what we are more focused on. Sad time that we have to tell the makers that the is not the case.

I cannot agree more his tendency to push these issues away will ultimately become imlie resolve to leave as she will feel her saying doesn’t matter. He needs to start both listing and seeing what she is trying to say in her unsaid words through her actions. As the saying goes actions speak louder then words. Yesterday she was trying to speak and he brushed it away but that worked with Maline and with imlie he has to realise the girl has a will and mind of her own.
