Did they really think a film titled Chamku had the potential of becoming a hit?

I didn’t even know such a movie even existed. šŸ˜†Before opening the thread I thought it was about this Chamku. Chances are that more people are aware of this Ms.Chamko than the movie Chamku. šŸ˜†

Now that Bobby has become a superstar, they should release this film again. šŸ˜†

I remember following the movie for its music director Monty Sharma. He was hyped as the next AR Rahman back then. Maybe it had some merit too after all he had provided the BGM for Devdas, Black and did the composition for Saawariya (one of my all-time fav soundtracks).

I also remember liking a song or two from Chamku, as well. Even Vaada Raha which was the follow-up movie and then I gave up.

Monty Sharma failed spectacularly as a solo composer, but it's good to know that he is the ghost composer behind all SLB works as a music director. Solo career nahi toh yeh hi sahi.
