I think the makers are showing AM in reverse.. unlike Adilie which began with forced shaadi, then dislike.. there was never pure hatred..that is too strong an emotion that Adi never felt toward Imlie. It is just that he was reminded of his helplessness whenever he saw her and his self respect took a BIG hit.

With Malini it was shown as a relation based on friendship n similar likes, comfort with eo that moved to marriage or that was the expectation from both sides.. then it grew from shaadi to finding out how diff they are from eo, to differences in thinking, to realization that it was never Love.. only gehri dosti.. that is also coming down step by step.. to one of dislike and indifference. All that he is saying is token words only.

Keeping the truth so that family does not get hurt to deliberately lying to hurt or humiliate others is the difference between then and now.

Like I said - I really want him to call out Malini on every despicable thing she has done and finally reduce her to just being his wife's sister that he tolerates, Imlie ka dil rakhne ke liye. Warna toh he would have removed her from his life the day she threw herself on him without his consent.

I want him to say this to reduce her importance in Adi's life as only connected because of her relation to Imlie - that will be the biggest slap on her face.

Agree with u.. He never hated imlie.. It was his loss of self respect which made him to treat her badly, she reminded him of helpleasness...

Inke dosti ka abhi bhi meko palle nahi padrahe.. Dost ek dusreko bahoot ache se samajthe hai even more than family yaha pe tho kuch dikhta nahi..their mairrage happened because he thought inke soch milthe hai tho rista chal jayega..

I doubt inke soch bhi kabhi milehonge ya vo bhi dikhava tha.. Kyuki dono ki alag principles hai..

He is not the person who will tolerate all this bahoot jald hi tootega iska gussa on her..
