No.its more similar to KAA.in kasam n kkusum the only similarity was they chose the heroine for the hero bcz of kundali issue.the hero's family was not bad.they used to love the heroine though rishi's mom didn't like tanu that much.but in KAA the girl's groom left n the hero married her.Later it gets revealed that the whole marriage drama was planned by the hero's mother n he supported his mom with his gf. Except the kundali matter BL is not similar to kis desh kasam n kkusum.bcz the hero's family was straightforward n not dark.

In kkusum the family was not dark.the only similarity was kkusum was the protector of abhay according to the horoscope so they got them married.but the family was so loving towards kkusum.
