Oh gosh I can completely relate to this as I remember studying in the USA for a six month exchange program and being asked a couple of stupid questions like these whether we dance around trees, go to school on camels and are women allowed to drive.

It made me quiet angry but I chose to answer it with sarcasm and I said oh yes we do dance around trees in our free time just like ur attacked by Al Qaeda and saved by superman everyday just like that and that not only do we go to school on camels but also switch between horses and elephants.

India as a nation is the worlds oldest civilization, has the world's richest cultural history. The most diverse place on this planet but our cultural ministry is only fixtated on showing dance and samosa cutlets. That is very stupid as movies already have their own marketing and don't extra representation. We need people with deep study on the functioning of India as a nation, it's intricate alluring practices . Hinduism is a very enigmatic religion very deep beyond festivals and pooja and artis.
