Personally, I would never indulge on personal level with anyone I met online. First, of course it is very risky and second, I am very uncomfrotable and reserved around new people. Real life me hi 5-6 friends hain mere aur online wale kaha rakhu😆.
I like anonymity. You can express yourself freely without thinking of getting judged. Some people take advantage of it and indulge into trolling, abusing but for me it is to connect with wider community with different age, experiences and discuss different things. On IF, it is common interest like show, on twitter it is politics/finances/books etc. Clubhouse is altogether different experience.
I belive pseudonymity is the future of out society. Many people don't want to come forward as they are not comfortable or for privacy reasons in this always tracking digital world. Many influential and rich people are already talking about pseudonymity. Some technological articles etc are also getting published under pseudonyms (read Bitcoin inventor). Once we remove face from the context, we focus on real IDEA ant not on one person.
