Honestly this would be the plot twist I need. Even if it comes at the cost of Aayis character initially. Everyone has made such great points!

This would make her urgency to marry Pallavi off make more sense. I know this isn't going to happen but what if Amma was the one to secretly send Mandar off for an errand as she realized he wasn't a good person the day of the wedding and she wanted to save Pallavi and send her away while Mandar was off on the errand. But instead he got in the accident and lost his memory. and by then it was too late. It would also explain why Aayi has always been so kind to Pallavi. That kind of bond is hard to develop but they seem to have had that relationship since day 1.

I reckon you're right. Both Mandhar and Vijay are very similar in that sense. Both have histrionics and expect people to follow whatever they say and want them to be, to do. And in the case people refuse them they will act out and show so many dramas.

However, this Vijay now is very different from the Vijay they portrayed in the beginning. I kinda miss that Vijay who really considered Pallavi as his daughter than this Vijay.

I don't think Amma will secretly send Mandhar off for an errand. They didn't even know each other back then.

That was all an act. If he considered Pallavi as his own daughter he would not stopped Nikhil to go search for Pallavi based on a rumour that she is with Raghav. If that night Raghav was not there Pallavi would have ended up raped and murdered. He threw her out in middle of night based on the lies told by Raghav. A father will never believe the kind of bullshit Raghav told about Pallavi as Sharada true to his motherly instinct never believed what Raghav said.

I reckon he considered Pallavi when she was all obedient widow of Mandhar. Cause the old Pallavi will not go against the Deshmukh for anything.

Maybe that's the reason why Mandhar married Pallavi in the first place. Because he knew that Pallavi would be an obedient wife who will listen to the family and his command. And maybe that's the reason why he left that night on their wedding day because he thought even when he leave Pallavi will not move on from him and will mourn for him for the rest of her life. And if it had not been for Sharda then I don't think Pallavi would ever moved on from Mandhar and the Deshmukh family.

Even i felt there was more to it. I guess aai was aware of his shady buisness. Coz ved also recognised aai. May be mandar had stopped after aai caught him. But core traits n characteristic doesn't leave a person.

If aayi had been aware of his shady business why did she let Pallavi married Mandhar in the first place?
