Dysfunctional families sometimes tend to bend the mind atrociously. Mandaar turning this way is much better than him being a doppelganger, cause there is a reason to his nature. There are husbands and sons who are narcissistic, especially in some certain middle class families where women are expected to serve their husbands. I've seen both. It really depends on what other balancing influences there were to balance out the bad and how the children dealt with what they saw/experienced in their homes.

Mandar only had Aayi and Kaka but it wasn't enough clearly. If he was involved with Ved, then I think we can all assume he fell into the wrong crowd as well. Add to that his accident, memory loss, coming back to find his wife had moved on. Not defending him of course. But like you said - there's more reason to the madness.

If it was a doppleganger, the plot would've been more superficial IMO. Glad they didn't go that route.

Had I been here around at that time, I myself would have ranted about it... and wo bhi achhe se because this is one trait that I really like about Raghav, he doesn't shy away from expressing his emotions.

Honestly, people indeed have stereotyped men. They are also humans, they also have feelings and emotions. Express karke kaun sa crime kar diya??

Also I don’t find his cheesy lines too much tbh. I mean his heart is so full of love right now, he finally has the girl he feels like pouring all the love on, she occupies his mind all day- him flirting with her implying the touch of her lips made his coffee sweeter!- it’s actually very wholesome! 😆

I mean if this is his way of expressing his love- I don’t have any problem at all. I like to accept them the way they are.

Plus Pallavi ko ye sab nhi bolega toh aur kisko bolega, vaise bhi he has to pretend in front of the whole world all the time- being somebody he’s not really. She is his safe place na. ❤️
