Jagga Jasoos

Me, my husband and my dad walked out of theater. We were bored to death.

But my younger sister and brothers sat through and enjoyed it.

I rarely leave the theater unless the movie becomes an absolute threat to my sanity. The most recent one is Uri- it was a cold day so I didn’t want to leave but couldn’t help falling asleep, despite trying my best, about the time when they were building that idiotic drone thingy (or whatever it was called) and woke up after one of the cleaning crew woke me up. Vicky Kaushal, God bless him and his wonderful acting, has no screen presence as the main leading man. :(

Never! Even if the movie is bad, I watch it for the sake of watching. The worst was I think Mausam, I kept rolling my eyes but watched till the end. But watching a movie at home is another story, if the movie does not hold my attention for the first 15 minutes, I turn it off.

I badly wanted to walk out during that Marvel movie about Ultron something or the other because I was the only one in the theatre who wasn't enjoying it. . Everyone laughed their asses off when Chris Hemsworth tried to lift his hammer but couldn't.

Friend looks at me and does "Urghahabaha hurghaha " .

Me : Haha I know ..is se yeh bhi nahi hota but jahan ko bachane nikla hai "

Him ( Looks at me like I'mnuts ) " No ..that's not why it's funny "

Me " Oh ! Then? "

Him " The hammer was stuck "

Me "What about it ?"

Him ( Gets annoyed) " Nevermind .let's keep watching. "

Me after an awkward moment " He has nice muscles , The green guy too ".

Him ( Gets excited again) " Hulk did this when blah blah blah and that when blah blah happened in xyz movie and this other hero and him did blah blah together when blah blah happened and then blah blah blah. "

Me " Have you watched Shrek "

He stopped talking .

But they had great parippu the vada at the snack bar and the popcorn wasn't bad either.

This reminded me of when I went to watch the second part of the Avengers movie with my friends. Couldn't understand a thing because I haven't watched the first part and I am not really into superhero movies so It was intolerable!!
