My take on today's episode:
Raghav Rao is a complex cast of characters; he is strong, emotionally vulnerable, arrogant, proud of his power, money, emphatizes with lower strata, would give up everything for his family, loves madly. But from Day 1 until today, he always taken a strong, confident stance on his actions. It could be revenge, forgiveness, redemption or love, his confidence outshines which makes the emotion more beautiful. Today I felt his character was diluted, that the confident Raghav Rao was lost somewhere. Yesterday, he was broken but today he was desperate. He always said he wasnt the type to acknowledge and repent for mistakes he never did. But today even though he knew the mistake was clearly on Pallavi's side, she failed to make him her priority, still he took the initiative to make amends. We loved the Raghav who tried his best, even kept his ego side and agreed to VD's baseless demands to seek redemption for Pallavi. Today, I would have happy if Pallavi had taken the same step.
It is absolutely correct that in a relationship that amends are to be made by both, but here it seems Raghav's side is heavy and Pallavi really took it lightly. I didn't feel her repentance. The words were lacking the depth of emotions.
It felt as if only Raghav is putting up the efforts. Which is exactly we didnt want to see.
Maybe the desperation can be explained because he didn't want Mandaar standing in between them anymore. He didn't care who was right, who was wrong. He wanted to make amends and made them too.
Aayi took the cake today, even more than Raghav I must say. She maintained her stance and returned Pallavi to her original house . The way she took a stand against VD was commendable. I loved her for it. The tender care, but then noticing the alignment of his sandals, she gets suspicious. She checked up his room, found the powder and connects the dots.
I am happy, they are together as a RaghVi fan. But the makers spoiled the feel that we expected. The strong character that is Raghav Rao was diluted with desperation. So that's a disappointment.
Maybe we expected more!!!
