They won't do the Sanki-Pallavi confrontation that we're all hoping for. There will be many bigger incidents happening and then we'll see. In a way it's good she didn't bother to look at Sanki's face before leaving. He's not worth wasting time on and I loved seeing him fuming at how little his value was.
Yup, I agree, a confrontation between the female lead and her father figure is not on the cards. Should be, but won't be. They'll probably make him a positive character later on at some point, I have the same hunch as you and I'm unable to point my finger to why that's the case. 😆
The so-called patch up was so ridiculous that I laughed during most of the episode. Kal hum sab ne apna khoon aise hi jalaya. What a waste.
Chalo jee... Mere toh khoon abhi bhi ubal raha hai!
Shayad mein farz mein ulajh gayi thi, etc. No sincere apology or appreciation for his emotions. Raghav had his heart in his eyes the whole time but she seemed annoyed with him, for what I don't know... Then again, sharabi tantrums do reduce your value and dignity Raghav, so you might want to reconsider these things.
LOL @ sharabi tantrums! You're right, they do mellow the effect of your words, but that being said, he spoke in Telugu and Pallavi should know by now he only resorts to Telugu when he's otherwise speechless and his words come straight from his heart. Whether that's in anger, frustration, or out of sheer love, Raghav always speaks in Telugu when his words flow from the depth of his heart, not the tip of his tongue.
Raghav tried to talk, Pallavi didn't want to listen, rinse and repeat. I know he didn't want to insist on discussing the matter further because his relief at seeing her back home and confidence in Ayi's words overshadowed everything, but as he said, they haven't been focusing on the right things and continuing to ignore these will blow up in their faces. Also, if Raghav didn't follow through with raat khatam baat khatam, he wouldn't have had the body language around her that he did today. So her line about that had me rolling my eyes.
Yeh kaisi dialogue baazi chal rahi hai?! For what reason?! What purpose is recycling old proverbs serving here!?
Pyar mein andha banda, hawa mein udte udte sab kuch hawa mein filter kar raha hai, tu bohot zor se zameen par girega ek din.
Haaayeeee.... aise na kaho. (Though you're right, jitna yeh non-Raghav Rao wale reactions de raha hai iss matter ko, utna hi yeh pachtaayega. He should keep his wits about him, they're one of his biggest assets!)
Also, what's the different between normal promise and pakka promise?
Wouldn't know... a promise is a promise is a promise. Perhaps the real comparison that needs to be drawn is between a promise and a Pallavi-promise, LOL!
Urdu speakers here, need some help. I used to think kahaani and qissa meant the same thing but I learned today that they don't. Please can someone clarify?
Kahaani means a story, typically a long story. Qissa means a tale/a short story/a quick matter.
And for those who say writers don't give Pallavi good dialogues, I hope today's episode answered your questions, including where she corrected the raat khatam baat khatam to raat gayi baat gayi. The lines were just fine, but expressions? Didn't match, didn't deliver.
Why was that even corrected though? I kinda liked Raghav's version of it more, it was true to how he speaks Hindi.
Anyway, whatever. They listened to fan demand and did these scenes last minute, so it diluted the entire impact of yesterday's episode and didn't address the key lessons both characters needed to learn. I am sure they will come back to these topics later when the fandom is more receptive.
Farhad is the only one in all this mess who believed these two had a misunderstanding. Astute as ever. They should use him more in the story.
I sure hope they revisit and resolve this mess that they willingly created! I also wish to see much more of Farhad than his usual entrance and exit. He's family to the Raos and there is no deeper interaction with him than for comic relief or for "tu yeh kaam handle karle". I wish there was more insight to his family as well and whether they also see Raghav as their second son.
Too bad Sanki won't listen. I want to see what he does after her accident. Will he care for her now that he sees he might end up losing her and then see Mandaar's truth eventually?
Doubt it... I don't think Sanki ever cared for his wife. He cares for the strangest things in life, it boggles my mind how the patriarch of the family has no leg to stand on. Koi dum hi nahi hai uske character mein. Self-righteous for what?!
Also, don't judge me for wanting to see Raghav caring for Ayi and opening up to her. Their affection and admiration for each other is always under the surface but very much visible in the non-verbal communication between them. I love it but would want to see that relationship develop. I still feel as if Sanki is going to end up being Raghav's biggest supporter later on. Don't ask me why.
I'd love to see more interaction between Aai and Raghav as well! He could use more parental love and influence and she'd also do well with a son to dote on who gives her much more than he takes.
LOL at Raghav saying in his own words that Pallavi aa gayi hai to noor aa gaya hai... Sorry dude, you don't convince me anymore. Let them both remain in la la land for a while and then battle further. They are literally in the honeymoon phase.
Their honeymoon phase is a joke. Their rear ends are on fire and they're trying to run off to God knows where to do God knows what... pick up phone calls from D-family?! Unka ho jaaye toh Keerti ka shuru ho jaayega. Raghav in his ultimate RR form should say that "hamara trip lene ka koi point nai hai kyunke hum dono ka family humein akela nahi chorrta".
Sandip, this is what happens when you listen to fans and make drastic changes to scenes. They feel disjointed and out of place, like the entire sari folding and silly promise scene. Also, Sai defaulting to proper Hindi grammar was jarring for a change.
Uhmm what. Why would they have him do that?!
Sandip should've stuck to his gut and not flipped the script in so many different directions. The back and forth is giving me whiplash as a viewer and if it wasn't for Sai, I would've stopped watching long ago!
